The US shadow govt., a massive conspiracy

There's no doubt these places can point to greatness in their past. My point is that the present day population does not present a danger to the United States if they stay where they are. Only when they come to our lands do they become dangerous.

What is it about arriving in the US that turns peaceful, non-threatening people into dangerous terrorists?

Does your country have that effect on everyone, or is it just those from the Middle East?

Only when they come to our lands do they become dangerous. Since there's so much beauty in their God forsaken wastelands, they should stay where they are. And, yes, the United States should stop interfering over there. Countries in the middle east can fight their wars without our help.

As the proud father of two wonderful half-Iranian boys, and a lover of good Persian food, I am personally offended. You are wrong about them coming here.

So apart from the evidence that Iran is not a wasteland, it is, in your opinion.
Nice.

Have you actually visited Iran? I have, and it is by no means a wasteland.

Unless we're going by the standard American definition, in which a wasteland is anywhere that isn't America.

Anywhere is a wasteland if Travis doesn't deem it pretty. :p

So basically everywhere on Earth except some bits of the Pacific Northwest, New England (but only in fall) the red rocks around Sedona and I'll allow Hawaii and Scandinavia as well.

The rest of it? Nuke it all from orbit.

.

Heck I grew up in Hawaii, twenty years in paradise - pretty much everywhere I've gone since then sucked. What I had to do was come up with a different set of parameters so I could appreciate other places.
