Ah but Saggy probably dismisses the Sonderkammando photographs as fakes, or the Allied air photographs of smoke pouring from the cremation pits.

I suspect he is just going on posting to troll us and he enjoys the attention. he has also ignored PMs requesting he answer my questions. That he refuses proves he cannot evidence his own beliefs. That means his is a religion and a deep seated religious belief is not interested in evidence.

So, let's see. Weber correctly points out that Bergen-Belsen was not an extermination camp. That's nice. What he doesn't point out is that Germans continued to stuff inmates into the camp instead of leaving them where they were or turning them over to the Red Cross. In case you didn't know, Saggy, if you leave people in overcrowded areas without access to clean water, food and medication they will spread disease, get sick and die.

That's exactly the point I was trying to make a page ago.

If I was to kidnap someone and keep them in my basement during a severe snow storm, and keep all my food supplies and heat sources to myself, and they died... I would be responsible for their death. It doesn't matter if I couldn't get supplies in because of the difficulties, their death would be on my hands.

Same thing for the camps in the last months of the war.

Especially when a well stocked food supply was found in the German army depot nearby to the Bergen-Belsen camp. Denialist claims Allied bombing cut off the camp from all supplies is a lie.

Maybe because the racist gospel of the leaders of this nation has obliterated their common sense and that they are so convinced that they must kill the Jews that nothing can stop them from doing so.

This is well documented too. Some local nazi leaders in occupied Poland asked to be allowed to keep "their" Jews to work for local industry, but the answers of higher level of command within Himmler's organisation were usually negative. All what happened is that the concerned Jews were transported to the death camps of Aktion Reinhard a little bit later...

What the blurb you are now quoting says is that Lili Jacob album is the only surviving visual evidence of the process leading to extermination - emphasis on the overall process and leading up to the murder itself (but not showing the murder). Put another way, the album contains photographs from the various stages of the processing of a single transport, or as Gideon Greif's essay from the Auschwitz Museum publication of the album says, the album "documents in about 200 photos . . . the arrival, selection, confiscation of property, and preparation for the physical liquidation of a Jewish 'transport' to Auschwitz-Birkenau. . . . the album [ ] document the dispatch of a Jewish transport of deportees in the spring of 1944 . . ."

You should know this because the Yad Vashem article says so: "The photos in the album show the entire process except for the killing itself."

You didn't write anything even close to this; simply put, what you wrote is wrong. There is other "photographic evidence" (what you wrote) of aspects of the extermination at Auschwitz, notably the Sonderkommando photos showing outdoor cremation and women being rushed to the gas chambers, and aerial reconnaissance photos of the Birkenau camp.

Btw it was a photo from the Lili Jacob album that was instrumental in convincing Eric Hunt that Jews were gassed at Birkenau.

Saggy, I realize that, as Argumemnon said, you have trouble with distinctions, details, and differences. I am not sure whether you can't follow these things or simply have an axe to grind. Also with basic information.

But that's no reason to let frustration get the better of you. Your vehement dismissals and name-calling are no substitute for explanations, evidence, and discussion.

Had to google them ... yes I've seen this photo berfore and a few others like it ..

This photo purports to show bodies being cremated in open air pits. They don't purport to show anyone being killed. It is well documented that there was a typhus epidemic in Auschwitz in 1942, i.e. no one disputes that prisoners died in large numbers at Auschwitz.

However, the photo is suspect. In order to cremate a body it must be exposed to intense heat for a long period of time, and it requires a pyre or grate so that the fire can burn beneath the body, whereas this photo seems to show bodies being cremated in a pit, which is a physical impossibility. So, I don't know what to make of it.

But you're refusing to look at ANY evidence. You're defining every piece of evidence as unworthy of being looked at before even looking at it. That's circular reasoning. Your behaviour is irrational and unreasonable.

The people who disagree with you aren't part of some giant conspiracy. It might be really exciting to you but it's no excuse to pretend that it has anything to do with reality.
