Ed Dueling protests spark state of emergency in Virginia.

Look at all the right wingers who popped into the thread to promote the alt right narrative about "both sides" being bad, and defend their Nazi chums. You know who you are. You are the enemy.

...
When will you stand up? ...

Some will stand up enthusiasticaly, raise their hands, snip fingers, and beg to become part of the fascist system. So they finally can discriminate at their heart's content, with their boss's blessing.

They may forget that every revolution eats its children.

It doesn't matter if they blocked the path. You said they did not use legal or non violent methods. A single application of a legal non violent tactic is a refutation of your statement.

Yes, it does matter, as the document I have already provided shows.

And? Can a black person not be racist Nazi scum?

When I was in school, in the early 90s, there were a lot of neo-Nazi street gangs around my home town. In one of the was a guy who called himself "Neger Pierre" [Negro Pierre]. He was a black guy who allegedly had a mental handicap and who had been adopted into the skinhead gang as a "good negro". The rumor was that he had had himself sterilized in order to not spread his genes.

Yeah, a couple in this thread have apparently eagerly signed on.

The rally was called "Unite the Right"- nothing ambiguous about that. ...
No one uninvited Neo-Nazis or the KKK.

This. 100% this.
Every right winger who showed up did so with a very specific intent to endorse Naziism, to endors White Supremacism, to endorse the KKK.

Sceptik Tank, Emily's Cat, TBD, Sunmaster. When you get an invitation by White Supremacists, and they ask you to unite with Nazis and KKK - do you heed the invitation, thinking this is what a good person will do?

This is a Yes/No question. Please don't wiggle.

You're complaining about the inappropriate behavior of people protesting a Nazi rally.

Let that sink in for a minute.

actually I am advocating for free expression and free speech regardless of the content of the speech.

For one side. The side that just happens to be Nazis. And you take their rights so seriously, that you criticize inappropriate behavior from anyone who might oppose them. Not necessarily illegal or violent behavior, just inappropriate.

You’re arguing that it’s wrong to behave inappropriately towards Nazis.

If one is for Antifa and their violent tactics, one is against free speech and the freedom of expression.

Now try to say the exact same thing about the good people marching with KKK and Nazis in a rally that has the express purpose of aligning said good people with said KKK and Nazis! :)

Next, try to say the exact same thing about Nazis and - yourself :)

I am simply echoing the positions taken by the ACLU. I also believe that physically blocking access to the park is violent illegal and stupid, and be assured that if the Nazis did that to a permitted Antifa rally, i would take the same position.

The ACLU did not say that blocking access to the park was violent. Or stupid.

They stated that the police stood by and let the violence happen, but they made no claims as to who initiated the violence.

I did not say that the ACLU said that, I was adding that to what the ACLU statement provides.

Physically barring someone from accessing a place they have a right to be is a violent stupid act.
