If you want to argue that there have been leftitst terror organisations in the past, and that there are leftists now that are anti-democracy, I won't argue. Mainly because that's completely off-topic in this thread. This thread, again, is about the fact that Nazis are killing people on US streets, and the President is a fan of them.

It is not off-topic, because should we fight them with counter-violence or pacifism as the 2 extremes?

I believe in avoiding counter-violence and get as close to pacifism as possible, so it is relevant as some parts of the opposition to the hard right believe in counter-violence.

They are being fought with both. You may note that the Nazis in Charlottesville came armed. They were looking for a fight. They got it because people wouldn't back down in the face of armed Nazis.

That is not a political paradigm that defines the alt right, either. You can be non violent and alt right.

No, there are two sides. How you fight the Nazis is up to you, as long as you do it. If you consign yourself to writing facebook status-updates about how bad Nazis are, that's fine. As long as you don't equivocate about how bad "both sides" are.

I don't equivocate. The hard left is less worse than the hard right. :)
