Chemtrails nonsense

So what are chem trails?

Well "Chem trails" don't exist. They are a conspiracy theory built around the mis-identification of contrails, perfectly natural and ordinary lines of water vapor and ice crystals left behind due to moisture, pressure, and temperature differences caused when an aircraft travels through certain air conditions.

It's functionally no different from seeing your breathe on a chilly day.

Commercial air craft don't leave them. I haven't seen fighter jets leave them, what type of air craft leaves chem trails?

None because they don't exist. Most any aircraft can cause contrails if the conditions are corrects.

Depending on how high up they are? How long should they linger? I want to post a photo of what I see every morning but don't know how to do it here. I used to know, but I've lost my touch. I want to know if this looks like normal air traffic.

Well since chemtrails don't exist if you see lines behind a plane, they are just contrails and you don't have to worry about them.

Chemtrails don't exist, so you didn't see one.

Can you tell me how to post a photo of the contrails in my area?

Can you tell me the steps to take to post a photo in the thread please?

Ok, I'm going to do them as I go so it works.
1. Resize your image to less than the required size. If I make them 1000 pixels wide that always works.
2. Go Advanced, if you're not already there.
3. Click on the paperclip icon for an attachment.
4. Choose the resized image from your hard drive.
5. Click "Upload".
6. Close the extra little "manage attachments" window.
7. "Preview Post", to gain a little confidence.
8. "Submit Reply"

Note: For the record, I have NEVER appeared in public with a multicolored wig on my hard hat. I'm the one with the dreadlocks.

Not this BS again? Any moment now you will be posting the inevitable hash formation as though you are entirely unaware that air currents exist.

Contrails have been about since mankind has reached the heady heights of over 25 k back 70 years ago in WW2. And the height matters not a whit.

I would have thought you could work that out?

I think aircraft were getting high enough in the late 20's and 30's to create contrails well before WWII

Fictional ones.

99.999% correct if one doesn't count the spreaders of agent orange.

and the image brings up a critical point - to spray stuff to effect the ground you need to be NEAR the ground.

Every sunny morning regardless of the season. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to turn the pic right side up.

They're called contrails. Chem trails aren't real. Commercial aircraft leave contrails all the time. Any type of aircraft can leave contrails. It a matter of atmospheric conditions.

Let me know if you still have any questions after reading the Wikipedia article on contrails. I'll try answer what I I can.

This signature is intended to irradiate people.

In truth, contrails will form at any level given the necessary atmospheric conditions. Even at the level of wing tip vortices. A phenomenon which still brings out my inner child to this day.

Amused as I might be by that, "chem-trails" are a whole different kettle of crazy.
