This is what the republican party chose to best represent the nation
It's not surprising, but it's still shocking, as I'm sure you'd agree.
You say that like it's a bad thing ....
One of the reasons why people liked Dubya was his "folksy" charm, he seemed like a guy you could sit on a porch and chat with. He wasn't intellectually intimidating. Likewise with President Trump, he's a straight-talking New York businessman who shoots from the hip and doesn't pull his punches.
Ana Navarro just ripped President Biff a new ******* on CNN, over Biff's tweets today about Mika B. It was a thing of beauty. Especially how she challenged the GOP establishment to say/do something more than their mamby pamby clucking.
Why do people keep accusing Trump of being "straight-talking"?
You go girl:Ana Navarro just ripped President Biff a new ******* on CNN, over Biff's tweets today about Mika B. It was a thing of beauty. Especially how she challenged the GOP establishment to say/do something more than their mamby pamby clucking.
Prediction -- If he actually realizes the ********* is a bad thing, he'll tweet
"Looks like my Twitter account was hacked by Barron. He's grounded. Naughty kid!"
On the left is the real Time Magazine cover of March 1, 2009. On the right is the fake Trump version.

Good call. Compare the real cover with the fake.
Victor Davis Hanson posted to National Review's blog this morning that the office was already debased by Obama, who published a ridiculously unpresidential NCAA bracket. What a disgrace and embarrassment it was to have that "community organizer" in office. Now we have a real man kicking ISIS ass!
For them the point is not just “acting presidential” (we are, after all, in the post-Obama age of televised presidential Final Four picks, tough-guy attacks on Sean Hannity, GloZell, To Pimp a Butterfly, and ankle bracelets going off in the White House) but rather distractions from the agenda.
There may be advantages, as Obama discovered, in lowering the presidential bar to resonate the flavors of popular culture, but right now no one is accusing Trump of being a stuffed shirt, but rather of not focusing enough on getting health care and tax reform through Congress, which in turn would provide the momentum for far more long-needed legislation.

"Lowering the bar"
Most of the rest of the western world tended to think that Obama was pretty presidential.
"momentum for far more long-needed legislation"
Hmm... I am not sure about how necessary the repeal of the ACA actually is.
Lowering the bar?
He tweets grade school insults. The bar is on the ground.
