What would be shocking is him answering a question in a coherent manner.

One of the reasons why people liked Dubya was his "folksy" charm, he seemed like a guy you could sit on a porch and chat with. He wasn't intellectually intimidating. Likewise with President Trump, he's a straight-talking New York businessman who shoots from the hip and doesn't pull his punches.
Why do people keep accusing Trump of being "straight-talking"? The man lies like breathing, he completely makes up nonsense trying to sound intelligent and informed about topics he clearly doesn't know the first thing about, he refuses to firmly support anything (in fact he often outright refuses to give a position on an issue at all when he fears it may be unpopular), and contrary to this absurd falsehood about "not pulling his punches" he schmoozes the hell out of foreign dignitaries to their faces and only waits until they're safely gone to take to Twitter and give his alleged "tough talk".
