FAQ in the manual
Q: Is the traffic counter able to count Elusive Upright Hairy Man beasts?

A: No. If they are elusive, they won't be walking in front of the counters.

Q: What if they aren't really elusive, and they huck rocks at us, and do bluff charges to warn us of their presence?

A: Why would they huck rocks at you, and alert you to their presence if they were elusive?

If I understand NAWAC's photo on their Facebook page, which appears to show actor Rob Lowe with some team members, and with a caption that read something like "look what happened on spring break," then their posting the following web announcement makes sense:

This^^^^^
I guess they'll have to come with a location for the show, since according to Jodie it's all a fantasy world.

Is your claim that the NAWACers made up area x out of whole cloth and never spent any time at all looking for wood monkey's in OK?

Yes, that's exactly what I think. Rob Lowe's interest in the area doesn't change my opinion. Lowe is only a high school graduate whose career has mostly been as an actor, how would he know if what they tell him is real, accurate, or true? Would it really matter when it comes to making a TV show? Fantasy will work just as well.

Yes, Rob Lowe aside, we'll see if Area X makes the editing cut. I seriously doubt it unless some of the members get out there and throw rocks at the roof while Rob's there, but that isn't exactly riveting television.
Everyone involved with the NAWAC is lying?

Exactly who and how many are involved? You can sit up in an office and post online as 20 different people. Who would know the difference if no one ever bothered to check to see if these people actually exist.

Brian Brown, Alton Higgins, Daryl Colyer and Bob and Kathy Strain all exist.

Are they all lying?

Yes, either on purpose or as a result of self delusion. That's just 5 people, 5 people can't lie? I find it hard to believe that this hasn't occurred to anyone.

Oh I'm all for the lying hypothesis. I'm just trying to understand your hypothesis as it relates to the NAWAC.

Why don't you lay the whole thing out for us?

You edited.

You're joking, right?

I think the whole thing is made up. I don't think there is continuous "research" going on anywhere, no Operation Houdini, no Operation Skulking, no Operation Vigil, or whatever thing they are calling it at the moment, is happening. There might be a core group that visits that cabin for two weeks out of the year but that's probably the extent of it, if that, just to hunt. Other than that, nothing is happening, nothing is going on. They may have filed some kind of tax status on their group to keep from having to declare membership dues as income but I seriously doubt very many of those members ever see this supposed Area X.

You edited.

Yes and?

You're joking, right?

I've read ABP's posts about it but I don't recall anyone saying that they absolutely thought there was no Area X, no research, etc....other than talking about how small the area in the pics happened to be despite NAWAC's claims about the research area's remoteness.

What evidence can you provide for this hypothesis?

Pretty much everyone posting here doubts many NAWACer claims; these doubts are usually addressed in specific posts regarding those specific claims. What specifically leads you to claim there is no area x and what evidence can you provide to bolster your claim?

Why would I need evidence of bigfoot research?

My proof wouldn't be any better than theirs' even if I had proof. How many times have you people argued that pics, video, and story telling isn't proof? Bigfoot doesn't exist so the only conclusion I could draw is that the entire thing is some kind of tax evasion scheme having to do with the income produced by the organization.

The only way to prove it is to actually drive out to the area and walk back to the location to know for sure. That would only amount to personal proof since nothing one could provide in the way of photos or video would stand up to scrutiny here on the forum. I don't care enough to bother because it's about whether someone is lying about their bigfoot research. I think that's a given.

I asked if you could provide evidence for your claim:

Because if you could, then /thread.

Well maybe one day someone will have the time, the means, and the inclination to check it out. I don't know that we need another Wood Ape thread, it would fit nicely here.

No, I meant [/thread].

Too bad, I was counting on you.
