I don't think Hillary is member here.

She "also' took much of the blame?? All of the blame is hers and her awful lies and her awful campaign.

But there she is blaming sexism, James Comey, Wikileaks, the Russians, well just about everyone. Oh, and she is taking the high road by graciously accepting some of the blame too.

Every last item is responsible. Sexism, Comey and Russia AND Clinton's campaign.

That's just a fact. Can't say in surprised the idiot right can't accept it and move on.

Lets see what the "Idiot left" thinks?

“She said the words, ‘I’m responsible,’ but everything else suggested that she really doesn’t feel that way and I don’t think that helps her in the long run,” Axelrod said, adding: “It takes a lot of work to lose to Donald Trump, let me tell you.”

You kids can piss and moan all you want about emails, the fact remains she did nothing many other presidents have done - and not a word about it. You know for a face that Trump is in every possible way, worse. But that's ok.

The only thing you people couldn't stomach was that she was a woman.

She was not and will never be President, although I will stipulate that the Loser was very Nixonian.

By the way, you are are beating the sexism card like a drum. Guess when ya got nothing, you got to play with what you are dealt. Most people would have folded months ago.

...

Wow, that's some serious Clinton hating there. :(

I agree that I think somebody that is given a huge opportunity to be the next POTUS by their party should either reject the opportunity or work to the best of their ability to win the election. Unfortunately for the US, Clinton prioritized many things ahead of doing the best she could to win the election driven by her greed and he dependence on the advice of her well trained sycophant team.

Perhaps Clinton's email miscues can be attributed to staggering ignorance on her part, a failure to get and follow the advice of informed individuals and a bit of world class hypocrisy given her blasting of the Republicans for doing the same thing less that a year earlier. So I guess this falls short of intentionally trading off the chances of a victory for self serving reasons.

But for that one needs to look no farther than the wall street speeches. Secret speeches to a group of people that's unscrupulous behavior had savaged the American economy and brought it closer to collapse than at any time since 1929. Or maybe the $250K that she decided to pay herself from her campaign funds. Did she think that was going to improve her campaign chances?

And of course, there was the foundation. She decided that she didn't need to comply with her agreement to isolate herself from the foundation while she was SoS and then she thought it was just peachy for the foundation to keep receiving foreign donations while it was likely that she was going to be the next POTUS.

Gawd! Now Clinton is responsible for Trump? :eye-poppi I suppose it's off topic to point out to you all the racism and sexism that is actually responsible for Trump so I'll defer that to a different thread.

Almost all the theories put forth as to why Clinton lost are right She lost by a minuscule number of voters in a few key states. So if you want to blame racism, lust for authoritarianism, right wing nut job theories, etc. you are right. I put Clinton at the top of the list of things to blame because most of those things existed before the election. It was Clinton's largely intentional self serving actions that were enough by themselves to make up the difference for her loss.

There is another scenario here that doesn't involve anything sinister. It's too bad people are so convinced of Clinton's evil they don't even consider it. To wit, the erased emails, as confirmed today by Comey, were all from her first 3 months and from her Blackberry, a device she switched from. Those are the missing emails.

Comey noted they found some of those on Weiner's computer and guess what, there was nothing in them.
...

I am not sure that I follow you here. The erased emails that I am aware of were the emails that Clinton claimed were entirely personal and that a very thorough procedure had been executed to insure that.

There were two problems with this claim:
1. It was a lie. A very cursory procedure had been used to sort official emails from private. Any mistakes by her crack sorting team would make it clear that Clinton had lied about this.
2. By destroying her "personal" emails Clinton almost guaranteed a drawn out scandal as new problematic email surfaced when her "personal" emails were obtained from other sources.

An informed 12 year old could have told Clinton about the problems with the way she handled the email scandal. Instead, she depended on the advice of sycophants that relentlessly gave her the advice she wanted to hear. And now she depends on the advice of sycophants to figure out how to blame everybody else but herself for her loss(excluding her self serving, perfunctory announcements of personal responsibility).

If there's one thing you can't accuse the American people of it's that they don't want change. Voted hopey-changey guy disgusted by the reign of Cheney, gave him the benefit of the doubt again over a Mormon freak even after he didn't manage to even close Guantanamo, and chose the wildcard over what would have been a disastrous continuation of the status quo.

Hopey-Changey guy now cashes in $400K for a speech, that's the change you get.

Yes, I know. The run up in corporate profits and stock values, the staggering decline in the unemployment rate, the declining deficits, the continuation of the decline in violence in America (well there was that little happiness at the end when the murder rate took a small bump). Whoa, and how we all long for the collapsing banks, the failing neighborhoods, and the bankruptcies of major American businesses. Those were the good old days, weren't they? Who in the world couldn't see what a disaster Obama had turned the US into. And then there was the bad news about manufacturing in the US increasing. What a loser that Obama was. Good thing we've got an honest, intelligent man who relentlessly does his best for the citizens of the US instead of that horrible Obama.

Let's take this one at a time, Dave. What makes you think Clinton is greedy?

You do know the Clinton Foundation actually does charity work, right? Is she greedy for taking speakers' fees commensurate with men of her stature?

Do you have some evidence her goal is to accumulate wealth?

LOL. Sorry for bothering you. You LITERALLY blame it all on Killary. Sleep well.

Every other "crooked" politician.

But that's not the only thing that separates her from every other crooked politician. For example, her total lack of charisma separates her from her husband. Her ethnicity separates her from Obama. The fact that she's a progressive separates her from Trump. Etc, etc.

There's really no evidence that gender hampered her. In fact, it's likely the other way around.

Why the specifics? You know as well as I do that every single knock on her has already "been approved" by the electorate. We've had presidents that weren't charismatic before.

The only real thing that separates her is her gender. She's driven. Whoopee dooo.

MSNBC of all things was playing in the gym of Mom's old folks home and a lady sitting on a recumbent cross-trainer was badmouthing Trump. She didn't like anything he did. But then she said she wouldn't have voted for Hillary if she was the last person on Earth. I didn't have the patience to draw her out, (too noisy anyway) but I was curious. She said she didn't vote, so it wasn't about preferring a 3rd-party candidate.

I wonder how many Bernie supporters refused to back Clinton.

Um, maybe this was sarcasm?

ETA: I didn't care about the emails and I don't really care too much about the Russian hacking. I didn't care that Flynn talked to the Russian ambassador but I did care that he had apparently lost his mind.
