Some semiconductor properties were known before quantum theory. Quantum Theory is like the Borg, it tries to assimilate everything and names it part of the QT collective. The semi conductor industry would have evolved very well apart from the magical underpinnings of QM.



Mmmmhmmm. You keep rationalizing. It's all you have, seeing as how Mills will NEVER deliver a working Hydrino powered generator or heater. You keep dissing the theories that produce WORKING tech. You enjoy your hope in a dead end. Might as well pray to Mills while you're at it. It'll do as much good for the world as giving him money.
 
Indeed, the one line "Yet Earthtech didn't have the help of BLP, and such help from an originator is often crucial for successful replication" pretty much gives you cover for any truly independent attempts at replication that fail to reproduce the results. With that as one of your fundamental postulates, no failure will ever convince you.

H alpha spectra was something I was involved in more than 25 years ago... We used them mostly in plasma involving He, H and CH4, and we used them as a proxy to precisely measure temperatures. Funny thing is I remember an undergrad(*) mistakenly seeing a broadening and a shifting... Which was solved by re-calibrating the instrument. I am betting that if they DID observe such broadening and shifting, they did not check for calibration.

(*) hum. Not me obviously. I would not make such a stupid error... huuuu. Maybe I have material for that "your secret" thread after all.

Was that research published? I'm sure BLP can use the recalibration as "evidence" you were "covering up" early "proof of Hydrinos."

No. I may remember wrongly but it was pointed to the person *cough* that it was hinted at in the documentation on how to prepare the experiment , have control before, and something about experiemntal derivation (eta derive - as in moving away, not as the mathematical operation) and instrumental temperature.

A not-so-surprising addition to the projected timeline is that they are planning to also offer a thermal version of their cell in addition to a photovoltaic version.

The first thermal version will allow for 500 kw of power to heat boilers, water heaters, etc.. The first PV version will be 150 kw of DC power. The timeline shows the thermal version going to market first, being targeted at industrial and commercial applications.

Thanks Michael. I'd be curious to know what the process is for someone who wants to independently validate Mills' work/findings. Understand he is still working through some of the difficulties in bringing his idea to market - but validation of the concept of the hydrino itself is what I am referring to. If that process was well-documented and the scientific community at large could do what he claims he can do, but do it themselves, it would clear up so much of the bad blood that is out there - not to mention the much less modest reality that it would change the course of humanity.

All - please don't jump down my throat here. I assume everyone is telling the truth, because I am not smart enough scientifically to justify any other assumption. :)
 
You can email BrLP's offices directly and I'm sure they would accommodate you with that information. Mills has publicly stated they are willing to work with any credible institution (ie. college, university, institutional investor, qualified lab, etc..) that wants to perform validation testing.

That said, they are so close to having a prototype device that it doesn't really matter at this point. People will be forced to believe it once it starts rolling off the assembly line.

If the thermal version supplies 3⅓ times the power of the photovoltaic version, why are they making a photovoltaic version?

Because the PV version doesn't require steam conduits, turbines, complex pressure regulation, condensers, etc.. etc.. etc..

You can stick a PV version in a compact car.

I'm not sure having something that volatile in a car is a good idea. Wouldn't it be better to use steam versions to power power stations and use the fact that electricity is now clean and cheap as a way to properly introduce electric cars for all?
