Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

Unless of course it's one of the other theories floated here, like some sort of test marketing. Inquiring minds want to know.

I am suspecting the SOLE purpose and "Markie et al", is to refine the pitch, not convince us, just throw the idea against us, and keep what can stick for the next round of "investor" and critics.

The problem I have with this notion that markie et al. are here as agents of Mills to "refine the scam" is, why are they only now trying to refine it?

Mills has been running this scam quite successfully for almost 30 years now, bringing in over sixty million dollars by all reports. That's way more money than I've earned in that same time period, and I suspect way more than most of us here. So what, exactly, could he expect to learn from us? He is, by any reasonable standard, already a master at figuring out how to BS his investors to keep the money flowing.

Please do not speculate on the identity of any other ISF poster; stick to the topic of the thread.

I'm unsure but how many people are there to share this money with? How much does the facility cost per year?

When one googles the BLP scam this thread is one of the top hits. So I suspect that certain people who are pro-BLP (for whatever reason) came to feel the need to join the thread to try to offset the criticisms (doses of reality) posted here. Notably they do not post in the other threads and it seems likely that they only became aware of the ISF when they themselves googled BLP.

... or they followed the link from their discussion group here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/SocietyforClassicalPhysics/conversations/messages/11929

I think this is probably the source of a lot of markie's "inside" information, too.

Mr. Mills seems to post to this group regularly. It might be a good way to ask some of the questions raised here.

I'm curious--what was the search term you used?

However, if you use DuckDuckGo - which does not bubble you - to do your searching, this thread is nowhere to be seen. :p

I knew that Google searches are influenced by prior history- but this is the first time I've heard the term "bubble." I like it.

I only had a quick skip through it, but 'Fan Club' would seem a more appropriate description!
The tone and religious fervour remind me of our friends over at Blunderdolts. Change a few terms and they are just the same. Where the EU folk berate "the mainstream", the Millites go for the "the fraud of QM" and where the EU people worship Thornhill and Talbott and all their sayings, this lot worship Mills.

And they want a debate. It's always the crackpots who want to settle scientific questions via "debate".

Oh - and apparently GUTCP needs "advanced math" and "will solve every outstanding problem in physics".

You get the picture.

Nice to see that even then people were calling out the big time B.S. factor. And yet here he is, all these years later, still proclaiming, "Any time now."

I see that twelve years ago, hydrino products "will have to be tested for environmental safety, and probably are already being investigated in this regard." Not many results coming out yet, are there?

Conectiv senior vice president David Blake concurs: "We're past the scientific verification stage. The talk now is about commercial applications," perhaps within seven years, he says. Blake sits on the BlackLight Power board of directors.

That's from an article published on December 21, 1999. The "perhaps within seven years" from the article would have been 2007. It is now 2017.

Markie has been at it for the last 12 years at least.

I am sure one could find out who it is, but I think it might be against the TOS to spread the info, even in PM.

So, markie's been peddling this for at least 12 years, but claims that he will admit that there's nothing to it if no working products have emerged in 2 years. I wonder why 14 is the cut-off point.

Conclusion:

Our Mills experiment shows no detectable sign of excess heat. A 10% excess…less than any of the reported confirmations of Mills' experiment showed…would have produced a prominent positive signal in our experiment.

We would like to make this experiment work. Any suggestions?

Did anyone offer them any suggestions?

Was there a follow-up experiment?

Brilliant Light Power. But Google hits are influenced by one's prior searches so this may have affected my results.

You can use a browser's private browsing mode (like Incognito in Chrome) to search while both logged out of Google and with the absence of any tracking cookies you might have picked up. If you do so, then searching for "Brilliant Light Power" without the quotes will give this thread as the 7th result, and searching for "Brilliant Light Power" with the quotes will give this thread as the 5th result.

Put that spade down. Everyone here can see that the PV system is completely foolish. Who in their right mind would throw 80% of the energy away as "waste heat" which then becomes a problem to dispose of, and attempt to harvest the other 20% with PV cells which themselves are unlikely to be better than 20% efficient at converting any light incident to electrical energy. So 20% x 20% means that Mills's monumentally stupid system design harvests 4% of the energy generated while having a complicated cooling system to get rid of the other 80%. Not to mention cooling the cells to stop the 16% that they convert into heat cooking them. It's a scam.

The cPV cells are known to have efficiencies of about 40 percent converting useable light to electricity. With the SunCell it should be even higher because it wouldn't have the reflective losses that normal use cPV cells have. Normally, cPV reflect the light back up into space. With the SunCell the reflected light will be going back to the graphite radiator.

So, I think your 4 percent estimation is a tad low. But yeah, there will still be a lot of waste heat with the cPV cell application.
