Good links to some of BLPs history. I for one already know Mills attempts through the years to extract hydrino energy from solution via electrolysis, from solution via heated nickel tubes, from gas via pulsed discharges, from various types of CIHT cells and now most recently from the SunCell.

Thermacore did not progress in their efforts, Gardner Watts did not progress, but BLP has advanced the technology considerably, especially now with the SunCell.

Why are there no Hydrinos?

So markie was wrong about the photovoltaic cells being the problem? And BLP were wrong when they said that they were going to use commercially-available photovoltaic cells?

I suppose that the good news for them is that as they've designed their own photovoltaic cells that at the very least they can bring those to market and start making some money back for their investors.

Thanks for the update! It looks like a major step toward closing the dome.

The video description says that "BrLP has also achieved automated control of the SunCell’s® thermal profile." It seems to me the thermal profile will be controlled by at least two means: the rate of pumping of molten silver (and the oxide within it), and controlling the concentration of H2 gas (fuel). I'm supposing that the former is the one that they have controlled.

This would be huge and instantly draw all the funding and expertise he could want. Or even show a coherent mathematical model that predicts such a thing and others will do it for you.

Have you searched for obituaries?

It might be wise to start the search in timeframes that predate his alleged endorsements of Mills.

When a commercial product supplying limitless ~free energy doesn't show up in that time frame, will you continue to accept and repeat Mills' excuses, or will you finally admit that the whole thing is bogus?

I would certainly admit I'm wrong if actual, commercially-available products started pumping out watts by the bushel-basketful, and scientists were able to independently confirm the existence of hydrinos, etc. What would it take you to admit you're wrong?

Based on his known scam cycle, and the claims that he's been making since this thread was started, I'd guess we have about 6-12 months to go before he goes quiet again.

It will then be 24-36 months after that that we hear of his Next New Hydrino Hope, which will produce a commercial power reactor in just 18 months! This Time For Sure(tm)!

Wherever are you getting those ideas. The photovoltaic application is going to be later, since there are complications. But they are still making progress on that front. And it's not BLP doing it ; the company that has made concentrator photovoltaic cells commercially is still doing the work. Lots has to be customized for BLPs very unique application. Please note that cPV cells have always operated singly and in isolation, as squares or rectangles. In the geodesic model they will be triangular cells that are joined together with electrical and cooling connections. This is not a trivial problem especially given the massive heat involved.

In the meantime the dome will be closed, and (if I understand Mills' earlier plan correctly) it will have to be enclosed in a larger, sealed vessel which will contain pressurized argon and small amounts of hydrogen gas. There is still a lot of work to do just to get the SunCell working as a heater.

And has been demonstrated before, the papers you're mentioning were all done either on BLP equipment or by BLP staff.

The "validation" is crap. It's in-house propaganda about as reliable as Cigarette safety studies "released" by Big Tobacco in the 1950's. Why the remedial concept of "replication" in the specific method so completely escapes you, an allegedly sober individual, is beyond me.
