That's part of the danger of the rise of the alt-right. Antisemitism has been a staple of the left for decades now. With the alt-right trying to replace traditional conservatism with their own brand of right wing socialism, it just makes it that much more dangerous for Jewish people. Another case of where the alt-rights adaption of left wing tactics and ideas just makes things worse.

Of course, the alt-right is still a tiny minority of the right, it's just getting a lot more press than the anti-Semites that supported Obama because the left and the media (but I repeat myself) are trying to paint mainstream Republicans with the same brush. It's just like when the New York times tried to claim that President Obama believed that AIDS was designed by the government to kill off all black people because Jeremiah Wright believed it. Oh, the Times didn't do that? Huh. Wonder why? :rolleyes:

Since about lunchtime on January 20, the mainstream media has decided to take an interest in anti-Semitism. But you won’t see them reporting the Progressive/anti-Semitism alliance. Rather, they are focused solely on President Trump and the anti-Semitic activity being spewed in his name by neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

These bigots have been promoting hate long before Trump was president. Granted, I wish the president would be more vocal about condemning their rhetoric. But in contrast to this president, whose daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren are observant Jews, I’m far more concerned with a media that ignores genuine hate promulgated by leftist professors and student groups on college campuses, as well as intersectionality that turns nearly every leftist rally into an anti-Zionist hate fest.

Which do you find more dangerous? Antisemitism from the right, which ninety five percent of people on the left and right decry and criticize, or Antisemitism from the left which is much more normalized and mainstream? I think that they're both dangerous.

I think that's debatable. The alt-right seems to be long on rhetoric and short on action (thankfully) so far. Evidence suggests that the left is much more likely to use physical force and confrontational tactics in their hate.

I wish I could. The truth is we have no idea who is making these threats or disturbing graves. Until there is some evidence, anyone's pet theory is just that.

And that's the danger of the rise of the alt-right. To even think that **** like this could be committed by people claiming to be right wingers is disturbing. That's the only good thing about the left and the media (but I repeat myself) highlighting the alt-right's attempts to legitimize itself. It makes it even more important for the mainstream conservative movement to completely separate themselves from right wing socialism before the left's memes become the accepted reality.

When are you going to provide evidence that it was idiots from the right? If you haven't noticed, there is no evidence as to who did it as of now. There have been plenty of hoaxes and in this political climate a hoax is as good as having a Trump supported doing it as the mainstream media does little in the way of follow up.
