Massive Wave of Hate Crimes against minorities follows Trump election.

God knows I despise conspiracy theories,but I think 20 threats on one day indicates some planning involved......

I am surprisded that the Jews seem to be the main target so far. I really put the Muslims as the most likely main target.

I vaguely recall that this is actually not uncommon. I don't know the why involved, but I seem to recall that there are a few times a year when jewish centers get a ridiculous number of threats. Clearly, there's a problem... I'm not sure if it's Trump related or has some other screwed up root cause.

Yeah, closely followed by hispanics. That was my expectation anyway. I'm still trying to figure out how jewish people ended up in the mix.

Odd, I thought I'd already pointed out Trump's white nationalist ties. Try looking up Steve Bannon and Breitbart's anti-Semitism.

These people are cowards, and they know Muslims are unstable and violent. It's probably that simple.

I think having the POTUS following them on Twitter and retweeting their imagery just might embolden them to act out, as well. Add to that all Trump's not-so-subtle jabs at Jewish people (not even mentioning them in his Holocaust remembrance statement, for instance), and maybe the neo-Nazis and white supremacists feel they can do what they want.

Also, the Jewish population of America is larger than the Muslim population (5.4 million vs 3.3 million), with more stuff to target.

More who is responsible for the "wave" of bomb threats. This is from the JTA:

NEW YORK (JTA) — A person calls a Jewish institution, makes a bomb threat and hangs up. The call lasts no more than a minute, the caller’s voice is disguised and the call is made to look as if it came from inside the building.

I wonder how they were able to make it look like the call came from inside the building? That's some real high tech knowledge these bomb threat people have. Phoning in a threat to a Jewish Community center and making it look like somebody inside the JCC made the call! Quite remarkable.

They are a traditional target of the Nazi's that make up much of trumps base in the alt right.

Remember you can't be sure if someone calling trump a nazi means it is as an insult or a compliment.
 
If the Anti Semitic attacks continue or increase...which I think is very probable...it will create a problem for Trumpy. The Anti Semitism of Bannon and some of his White Nationalism supporters will become an issue.

You are unfamiliar with caller ID spoofing, I take it?

Several people keep asking who is committing these hate crimes or terrorist threats, as though there just might be a group committing them that makes it OK. Could you explain what answer to that question would make the bomb threats not terrorist threats?

Trump will just wave his jewish grandkids at most. They will ignore that just like they ignore the recent shooting. And ignored the canadian one after they stopped being able to blame muslims.

But Jews calling in bomb threats to JCCs to make it look like there's a spike in antisemitic activity makes it more of a false flag operation and not a terrorist threat.

The simple answer is all supposed hate crimes are really false flags now. Those kids chanting build the wall at some hispanics? Totally organized by the hispanics. How else could racism be dead except when it is someone wrongly playing the race card to get one over on real americans.
