If this goes on,even the GOPers in Congress will not be able to ignore Trump's behavior..particualry when the business leaders get on the phone and tell them Trump's "Diplomacy" will crash the economy.

One would hope. I'd bet dollars to donuts the private GOP pow-wows don't sound anything remotely close to the public kowtowing.

But beyond that, until their GOP constituents start backing away from Trump, who knows? They tended to cater to the TEA Party, fearing their seats I imagine.

Trump is and always has been a bully. It's the only way he knows how to act. He thinks he has to act this way, because it's the only way that has ever gotten him anything in his life.

I just found out about @Trump_Regrets on Twitter. It would be kind of funny if it wasn't really, really sad.

So we have reports that Trump was disgusting to both Mexico's president and Australia's PM on the phone and neither of the two world leaders responded publicly about Trump's behavior.

It's looking a tad odd. I can't imagine either was likely to kowtow to Trump. I want some corroboration. Could be a trick that will later be revealed as the fake news the libruls spread around about Dear Leader.

What do you expect them to do? There's a good reason for why Trumps behavior is out of place and it's because statesmen and diplomats are known for their stiff formal language, courtesy and confidentiality. These people are supposed to weigh every word they say instead of mouthing off. You don't make a scene about what's said with foreign leaders and diplomats in private because that means you can't be trusted.

Like the Australian PM said at a press conference:

“These conversations are conducted candidly, frankly, privately,” Turnbull said at a news conference Thursday in Australia. “If you see reports of them, I’m not going to add to them.”

I forgot to add: most important of all is that neither country has anything to gain from ratcheting up tensions with America. The fact that Trump is president, and any controversial actions he takes, is likely to make relations deteriorate on its own.

This is the reason why the Mexican president has been extremely courteous to Trump in the fact of his hostile and xenophobic rhetoric, most noticeably with Trumps bizarre insistence that Mexico must pay for his stupid wall. He has taken a lot of flak for this since it's obvious that Trump isn't showing any respect back.

What I expect wasn't my point. Gawd knows what to expect. But we've been condemning all the fake news and it's easy to see why this fits confirmation bias about Trump.

You're choir preaching if you think you need to tell me Trump is the failed-diplomat-in-chief.

I'll reread the PM's statement. I am not saying it did not happen. I am saying I want to be cautious when reading news with little supporting evidence other than that I have a confirmation biased reason to believe.

Were I Nieto or Turnball, I'd have a tape recorder going with the next call. And I might just let it accidentally leak.

Colin Mochrie is officially my hero. This is now my name for our cheeto-in-chief.

No need for that. Trump just tweeted that it's a dumb deal.
