President Trump: Part II

Can these idiots point to a single potential terrorist they kept out of the country this weekend?

I think not.

[sarcasm]
Don't you realize that every Muslim in the world is just waiting for a prearranged signal to rise up, seize control, and establish the global Caliphate? They're all radical terrorists. It's their duty to lie about it and claim to be peaceful to catch us off guard.

I bumped into a fair taxer the other day who thought president Trump would abolish the
income tax and replace it with a national sales tax of 32% inclusive or 47% exclusive tax.
(Not real sure about the math here.) Anyway, do you know where to find the legislative
agenda for his administration during the presidential honeymoon period. (Not sure again,
but I think that lasts six months to a year, just like the last administration.) And what he
a list of what he has accomplished so far.

What's he going to do when he travels of Air Force One and has to walk down that long set of steps? Maybe Ivanka will hold his hand. Ugh.

Interesting, they've actually been saying they want the temporary halt to get the immigration disaster under control, but I wouldn't want to kick the libs off their emotional soap box.
You be sure to let all of us know when the Trump Administration has immigration "under control".

2) Bush's habit of putting incompetent cronies into cushy jobs they had no qualifications for left us with disasters like "Brownie", who managed to make a horrid situation worse with mismanagement, waste of resources, and not even proper attention to communication channels. Remember the guy's previous job was running a Horse organization into the ground.

Given the way Trump is staffing his administration, we will more than likely see this scenario play out again and again and ......

Why? He's a weird kid. He's the product of a weird father. This isn't some kind of attack on Barron, it's an observation about the family. The kid's a victim of circumstances.

Plus, Barron's being used (or was) as a prop. I only know about him because he's been put on display.

Doesn't matter that they use him. In fact, it makes it all the more important to leave him alone. The kid has so much going against him, it just isn't right to even bring him into the political picture. Even if they do; especially if they do.

Leave the poor schmuck off the table.

During the campaign, Trump said he would implement a ban on Muslims.

Trump implements a ban, says it's not a ban on Muslims and his surrogates go on the Sunday morning shows saying it is not a Muslim ban.

Spicer comes out today saying Trump is doing exactly what he campaigned on.

They can't even stick to the same lies.

Trump doesn't have an agenda; he's just got some simple-minded ideas - like banning Muslims - that add up to all heat and no light.

The best legislative source is Ryan's A Better Way.. It's a bunch of hogwash in my opinion but at least there it is.

I wonder, can Trump pre-emptively pardon himself and his cohorts? Apparently he can do whatever there isn't a precedent for...

On Wednesday, Reuters reported (in great detail) how 19.5% of Rosneft, Russia’s state oil company, has been sold to parties unknown. This was done through a dizzying array of shell companies, so that the most that can be said with certainty now is that the money “paying” for it was originally loaned out to the shell layers by VTB (the government’s official bank), even though it’s highly unclear who, if anyone, would be paying that loan back; and the recipients have been traced as far as some Cayman Islands shell companies.

Why is this interesting? Because the much-maligned Steele Dossier (the one with the golden showers in it) included the statement that Putin had offered Trump 19% of Rosneft if he became president and removed sanctions. The reason this is so interesting is that the dossier said this in July, and the sale didn’t happen until early December. And 19.5% sounds an awful lot like “19% plus a brokerage commission.”

Conclusive? No. But it raises some very interesting questions for journalists to investigate.

Scene I'd Like to See:

All the former Presidents gather as a cabal and decide they have to do something about Trump.

They could call themselves The League of Extraordinary Precedents.
