President Trump

I personally don't have enough information to know if the groping was consensual , just that Trump claims it was consensual. As to what could be the recourse, all the women I know would slap the guy, bigshot or not.
Where does Trump claim it was consensual? And what about all the statements by women who he did assault that say it was not consensual?

About the Access Hollywood Tapes:
even Trump's cabinet picks have agreed that someone behaving the way Trump describes on the tapes is guilty of sexual assault. This is not in question.

The only thing we don't know if it was just Trump making stuff up to look cool to Billy Bush, or if he was confessing to an actual assault.

Testimony by various women (including one of his wives) would suggest that Trump has committed sexual assault multiple times.

Size of geography does not equal size of culture. Under that theory Alaska has twice as much culture as Texas?

The area of land people occupy who believe a thing doesn't lend that thing any credence.

Of course they do, alaskans are more important than Texans for the same reason that people in wyoming are 3.5 times more american than californians.

Of course we should judge Trump both by his words and his actions: that's what we have done with every president; by which logic do we have to make an exception for Trump?

As the leader and representative of the USA, what the president says almost always has direct consequences, and Trump already claims that his tweets have saved jobs. So even he wants credit for the hot air he blows. Let's not forget to give him the blame, too.

Didn't you listen to Conway? You should never pay any attention to anything Trump says, his campaign manager says so.

Trump's transition team is looking at eliminating the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, as well as privatizing the non-profit Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports public television, public radio, and PBS.

"Hello kids. Me no longer Cookie Monster. Me now Coca-Cola Monster."

Hey he has to find the money to keep his wife and kid in New York somewhere. Now to find out where the rest will come from.

Discussing crowd sizes and the mean media is all on the way to making America great again. And both perfectly suited topics for a speech at the CIA Memorial.

Better than bashing the CIA while standing in front of the memorial to its fallen members.

No, a punch happens too fast. If someone gropes you, you have the option of pushing the hand away, objecting verbally, or punching the *******. None of these behaviors fall into the category of "they let you". If someone sucker punches you, you didn't let them do it, they just did it.

It is like when someone doesn't fight back it means the sex is consensual.

She's probably right. I don't care about Trump's tax returns. I doubt I would even understand them.

ETA: And for the record, I don't care about Hillary's emails either.

As I said earlier, I don't care about Trump's tax returns either. However, what I wonder is whether you care about such a blatant, bald faced lie about them during the campaign. He never had any intention of releasing the tax returns, ever, and he knew that, but he made up a cock and bull story about releasing them after the audit was complete.

I was pretty sure he was lying then. Were you? Did you believe him? Did you think it was a brilliant move to divert their attention?

It's a serious question, by the way. I don't intend it to be a "gotcha" thing or a "see I told you so" sort of thing. I'm genuinely curious how a Trump voter will react to it. It was a big story during the campaign. He stood up during debates and said what he would do. It should be obvious by now that he was lying when he said that. Oh, and he wasn't spinning things. He wasn't obfuscating. He wasn't engaging in double talk. He wasn't mistaken. He didn't change his mind later. He lied. Just plain lied. So, do you care?

In the tape he said "they let you do it". Since then he has said that the groping never happened at all, that it was "locker room talk".

I believe he denied the harassment allegations, an alleged pussy grabbing incident by saying that it never happened, the kissing incidents, I think either he or Kelly Ann said that a peck on the lips is not harassment.

I would also like some evidence before assuming one side in a he said/she said . I just don't think this rises to the level of a Bill Cosby situation.

On this we agree.

Among supporters I know, the reaction is mostly that he continues to "stick it to the man", standing firm in his principles by ignoring the catcalls from the unwashed masses to disclose all.

No feeling of betrayal in evidence.

'Stick it to the man'? Don't you mean 'Sticking it to us'?

I notice in his first week, Trump is already being sued for violating the Constitution.
