President Trump

Discussing crowd sizes and the mean media is all on the way to making America great again. And both perfectly suited topics for a speech at the CIA Memorial.

Well, Newt Gingrich is already laying the groundwork to explain any policy failures: sabotage by Hillary supporters in the federal government. There needs to be a way to fire them all.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is so excited by the prospects that Trump will finally be able to deliver the extremely right-wing restructuring of the federal government he’s championed for decades.

“I would say by one week after the inaugural, it will be very interesting to look at how many things have changed,” Gingrich recently said at a Heritage Foundation event. Gingrich predicted that “Trumpism produces a balanced budget largely as a consequence of its policies rather than by focusing on the balance itself.”

The only risk, Gingrich later noted to the New York Times, is that entering the White House and instantly slashing a federal agency’s permanent staff will likely lead employees “to find ways to sabotage each new cabinet secretary as soon as they walk through the door.”

Offering perhaps the most nakedly political argument for firing federal employees, Gingrich said, “all those bureaucrats overwhelmingly voted for Clinton. There won’t be any real cooperation until we change federal law so we can fire them.”

Let the purges begin!!

He said "they let you do it", so he is not admitting to non-consensual pussy grabbing. Perhaps he has done some non-consensual groping, that would not surprise me, but it's inaccurate to say that he has admitted to it.
You know, I think that's fair.

Backstage footnote: The Trump team ordered a big cake for an inaugural ball that exactly duplicated one from Obama's parties in 2009. Except Obama's was real; Trump's was mostly styrofoam.

I know where you're heading, you're trying to draw a parallel between Obama and Trump, suggesting Obama was a real president and Trump is just empty calories and artificial color smeared over indigestible garbage in a fraudelent and pathetic display. But really isn't that just a little too obvious? You should be ashamed of yourself.

It might be hard to fill those spots with Clinton getting a nine point advantage in college graduates.

It's not as if positions have been filled with people knowledgeable about those positions so far. I'm sure the rest of the government can be filled with people with vaguely connected qualifications. For example, they can probably find some gas station managers to work at the Office of Fossil Energy, or some butchers to run the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service.

I got it. I suddenly understand his strategy.

He's taking a hit for the country. "I'm going to make everyone hate Donald Trump so much that they have no choice but to come together."

Absolutely selfless, I tell ya.

And he also told them that he had a deep respect for them. This after telling the public that the intelligence community can't be trusted for the last few weeks.

For a guy that skips nearly all his intelligence briefing he is frighteningly up to date on cable news content and ratings. Which raises the question, "If North Korea builds an new ICBM and Morning Joe doesn't do a segment about it, will Trump know it happened?"

And I'm sure The Hair isn't even smart enough to understand why that was an unsuitable topic for the setting. Such an imbecile.

What is Trump not even waiting for in his infamous quote?

They let you do it, especially from the mouth of the aggressor, is not consent. There is a complete absence of any affirmative consent. If they are uncomfortable and don't say something, that is "letting" someone but also sexual assault.
I agree up to a point. No, he didn't ask for permission, yes, they were uncomfortable but allowed the groping. I think it's an exaggeration to call that sexual assault though, it does a disservice to women who have really been assaulted.

Oof. I can't help but think you'll regret that bit.
