Utopia and Time Travel

I adore the topic, but you haven't thought of something. You know that great song by Young MC called "Bust A Move".

Well, these future people might come and do nothing but bust moves. They are supposed to help but they are totally distracted and not into doing anything except busting moves.

You have to plan for that happening.
 
OK, the key word here is " if ". Only you are suggesting that a port is needed. Understandably.

However, consider there will be other methods of travel. Ones without am actual "port : needed. Your thinking "star gate", I think.

Also, on a side note.... a machine is really not needed at all. Simply put, the speed of light does offer the ability alone.
 
Yes, actually i do!
You see, it has already been well documented in history that many future people have only come here to " bust a move ". Need proof? Just watch a few episodes of " Ancient Aliens ".

So, to get around this " bust a move " problem. I would simply task my time traveling friend with an agenda.
In and out!

At that point they only have 3 options:
1) do it!
2) don't do it!
3) travel back and bust a move!

If time travel of matter or information in the manner depicted in science fiction is possible we don't yet know how that can be achieved or what apparatus will be necessary.
Can you explain more about lightspeed?
 
Yeah but how will your friend know? These future guys, when they bust moves they are dope and fresh. Will he front?
 
People in the future can travel in time, but want to keep it a secret.

The future people have already read your posts and as you've sussed out their secret, they will have to come back. And kill you.

Be afraid.

Light speed... not really to much to say about that other then you are traveling at the speed of light. However, has it does relate to time travel I do know a this:

The farther away a person is to any given point the easier it is to time travel. In fact we are currently time traveling right now. Every step me take and every turn we move is a travel ( in a way ).

Its like this:

Lets say that if I was here on earth and you where on a planet 100 trillion light years away time travel for us would be has simple has you turning your body or walking forward. Now, to you and me it would not feel any different then any other time. However, if you where to travel back to earth after you move around a little bit you might find yourself in a whole ther earth.

Granted, this is all relevant if you have the ability to travel the seed of light.

When you look in a mirror you are not looking at the present you! You are looking at a past you. It takes time for your eyes to retain the mirror image. That is how close time travel really is to us already.

Has for speed of light ... don't really know, sorry!
 
LOL, the more action I put into my thinking the more possible my outcome, this is true.
 
He will probably want to stay! He can bust all the moves me wants in my Utopia, lol.

If the future exists, as you surmise, then it already knows your plan. Either that and it sucks, so they don't care; or there is no future, right now.

We can tell because nothing has visited from then.

You see, if the future exists as you say, then your thinking of something tomorrow has already happened. Your future self has polished the plan to perfection and all will be as destined.

It feels a lot like nothing happened, though. To be honest.
 
What if the future Utopia can only happen if the future people don't contact people in their past?

What if they have decided that one particular set of events was necessary in order to lead to their Utopian society and that set of events did not include travelling back in time to contact you?

Maybe the fact that no one has come back from the future to contact you is evidence that you exist in the perfect timeline. The future people don't want to interfere with their perfect world by meddling in the past...

I think we are already living in an alternate timeline. The divergence happened oh, about a month ago. I sure as hell feel there's something currently wrong with the universe.

Please, if it's not against regulations use your time travel technology to go back to October 22, 2016 and prevent the dirty bomb terrorist attack on Los Angeles.

Your eyes are recieving photons that bounced off your face in the past and took time to travel to the mirror and back.
I don't see how that helps in travelling through time, what am i missing?
