This is making me think he has no intention of actually becoming President. But think of the ratings for that first show!
I propose we don't call Trump "POTUS" when he takes office but "PGOTUS", for Pussy Grabber Of The United States.

He's been in favor of all of the major free trade agreements Trump has stood in fierce opposition to. Boustany voted in favor of fast-tracking the Trans-Pacific Partnership and is a cofounder of the Friends of the TPP caucus. An unabashed free trader, he has voted in favor of trade agreements with Peru and South Korea, as well as trade promotion agreements with Panama and Colombia.
"The prospect of him as a USTR candidate makes Trump's trade campaign, campaign trade commitments, and focus seem extremely hypocritical," Lori Wallach, director and founder of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch, told Business Insider. "I mean, it's a little bit like inviting Dracula to run your blood bank." Link

Not in the sense of an all-purpose bad guy, but in the sense of somebody who sincerely believes that the toxic combination of strong government and strong corporations should run the nation and the world. He spent his previous career negotiating with the government on behalf of corporations; now he has switched teams. But it’s the same game.
Trump is now being criticized because Congressman Charles Boustany of Louisiana (soon to be "former" Congressman Charles Boustany) is apparently under consideration for the post of US Trade Representative [USTR] in the Trumo Administration. Boustany has a reputation as a Free Trade advocate.
"These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction," Trump's representatives said in a statement attributed to the transition team. "The election ended a long time ago ... It's now time to move on and 'Make America Great Again.'"
Comparable to the hypocrisy and double standard over Goldman-Sachs.Just imagine sunmaster14's tirade if FLOTUS Hillary did something like direct talk with Taiwan.
The full statement is even better.
"The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history."
Not only is a month "a long time ago", but the 46th largest margin of victory out of 58 elections is apparently "one of the biggest".

NBC said:Donald Trump's transition team appeared to take a swipe at the Central Intelligence Agency Friday and call the spy agency "the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction."
Trump's team was responding to a Washington Post article published online Friday night that said the intelligence community has reached a "consensus" that Russia intervened in the presidential election to help Trump win, not just try and sow chaos in the process.
It is unclear how many files were stolen from the Republican committee; in some cases, investigators never get a clear picture. It is also far from clear that Russia’s original intent was to support Mr. Trump, and many intelligence officials — and former officials in Mrs. Clinton’s campaign — believe that the primary motive of the Russians was to simply disrupt the campaign and undercut confidence in the integrity of the vote.
The Russians were as surprised as everyone else at Mr. Trump’s victory, intelligence officials said. Link to article
Trump has already attacked the report by saying, "These are the same people" who said Saddam Hussein had WMDs. Ironically, if you delve into the history, the intelligence community was actually telling the Bush Administration the reverse but Bush wouldn't listen.
See the difference? It's really time to learn that known Fake News peddlers like the Washington Pest quoting unnamed officials and "sources" doesn't make it true. That goes for the morons at NBC as well, of course, but definitely for self-proclaimed "skeptics".
Way too much. His base admires it.Is it to much to ask that this sinks him?
As I recall, Cheney had to create a Special Presidential Intelligence Assessment Group (the actual name escapes me) to report that Saddam had WMD's, was working with Al Qaida, and everything else he wanted Bush to be told. The CIA refused to play ball.Trump has already attacked the report by saying, "These are the same people" who said Saddam Hussein had WMDs.
