I know he is just reading from a teleprompter but Donald's speech is actually giving me a tiny sliver of hope that he won't be as bad as I think he will be.
 
Maybe now we'll finally find out what really happened in Benghazi. Sheriff Joe, currently unemployed, could lead the investigation.

You better hope he does nothing and all the underling do the work, because if his campaign blunders are an indication, he is not a savvy politician at all, and made quite inane promise.
 
I believe that if people thought Trump was going to win, or at least had a good shot of winning, I don't believe the Republicans would have won the Senate. I think many more people would have vote split.

As was Obama, whipping up the anti-Trump vote (or so we hoped). They'll have pros do a peaceable transition. Obama just loves him some campaigning, as obviously does Trump.

I worry less about Trump's bombast than the stuff he's silent about. He ain't building no wall. He's not deporting millions of illegals the minute he takes office. He's not jailing Hillary.

The chief worries are in what he does with the Supreme Court nominations and what he does with existing trade agreements or alliances.

He's always risen to occasion. He'll do it even in the face of a complete repudiation from the electorate.
