The Unofficial Election 2016 Results Thread PLEASE

Is it possible that there is a recession just because Donald won? I mean just the news of it not things he actually does (though the things he will do may **** up the economy hence market reacting in advance).

Trump has almost no understanding of how the government works. Nor does he appear to have the patience to learn. Wall Street recognizes the problem and finds it deeply disturbing. That alone could cause a recession as companies back off on plans due to uncertainty.

Hillary never went to Wisconsin.

Some commentators are making exactly that point. Hillary took Wisconsin for granted, even though its voters elected a right-wing extremist as governor, retained him after a recall and then re-elected him. It's hard to understand why she didn't consider the state worth a couple campaign days.

Quite a bit, actually. PA is going Trump at the moment. So is Michigan.

Hillary MIGHT be able to turn that around, but it's a long shot

I know. Meadmaker said that if she won a certain set of states she would take it. He left off Wisconsin. I was just pointing out that even if she wins all of those states, she would also have to win Wisconsin.

It was the most optimistic map possible and she still loses.

He's not divesting his assets or putting them in a blind trust. The first President I can recall not doing that on top of not releasing his taxes. He was openly admitting his Presidency will be self serving and enough of the electorate went for it.

At this point yes, if Trump takes Arizona (which he will handily) and then takes Pennsylvania (Hillary down ~48,000 with only 2% unreported) and he's at 275.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Hell.

Voters in NE, OK and probably even CA are strengthening the death penalty :(

Saving unborn children is the excuse anti-abortionist use to punish women for having sex.

Whether or not women do have sex if they do and get pregnant the baby's rights are it's own and not subject to her whim. It's not the baby's fault and the baby should not have to die because of the woman's actions.
