The Unofficial Election 2016 Results Thread PLEASE

Patton Oswalt: "Election update: I am ******** [defecating] things I didn't eat into pants I'm not wearing."

Hmmm...I just clicked on the Minnesota map. It seems there are several rural counties with no results reported yet.

That's not good for the blue team. Ok, maybe it's over.

President Trump. Is it reality, or a new comedy debuting in January?

Is it possible that there is a recession just because Donald won? I mean just the news of it not things he actually does (though the things he will do may **** up the economy hence market reacting in advance).

A lot of evangelicals are pretty much single issue voters. Anecdotally, I can say I know an older lady at work that voted for Trump for just that reason. Clinton is pro-abortion and Trump claims to no longer be pro-abortion. Even the whole "grabbing *******" October surprise didn't phase her.
He said he wanted women who had an abortion punished.

So obviously so does America

As I just posted elsewhere, remember 2003-2007 the last time Republicans had the White House, the House and the Senate? That is happening again with someone even less qualified at the helm.

As of about 90 seconds ago, Alaska hasn't reported a single vote yet.

Of the remaining open states, I'm writing off Arizona, the spread in the remaining to be counted counties is just too high for her to close the gap, IMO.

The others are closer:

Wisconsin (10 EV) -86,000 votes down [11% uncounted]
Michigan (16 EV) -35,000 votes down [21% uncounted]
Pennsylvania (20 EV) -25,500 [4% uncounted]
New Hampshire (4 EV) -640 down [17% uncounted]

I'm willing to give her a marginal chance at NH, WI, and esp MI.

Note that these numbers are changng it seems by the second, so reflect when I started this post, not up to the moment accurate.

Yes it is possible. The stock market is already crashing. With that goes drop in spending and in housing prices. Add to that more right wing economic ideology that they can't seem to figure out is a failed strategy and the next couple years are going to be rough.

The best outcome I could hope for with this election was that Clinton would just barely win. We'd avoid a Trump presidency and wake up the democratic party.

Looks like it may be too late. Dems should have voted for Sanders in the primary.

Sanders would have been vaporized in this election.

Oh, snap! They had already projected Hawaii. That means my list only has 54 votes.

269.

Well wouldn't that just suck.

And not just in the USA. The major world stock markets are reacting just as badly.

Cool.

As long as you are happy with women be punished for having an abortion for medical reasons etc

Most pro-life people are very much aware of "medical necessity" abortions and consider them separately because in that case the child is already dead or has no chance at all of living. In that case the moral calculus is lose one life to save another vs losing two lives.
