Trump takes a swipe at Michelle Obama by taking a phrase completely out of context - what a shocker

He tried this before, in Debate II, I think. It was completely debunked and yet he takes it on the road.
I actually watched that rally (Friday in Fletcher, NC) looking to see how he's playing the crowd. He didn't really go near his pledge nor his denial about the election results but did whine about unfair media for a moment then went into the zillions of dollars in ads she's running.
I had to re-run the speech to see if I missed anything because it was a very low-key speech and very under-enthused (for Trumpies) crowd.
I think I picked up on their momentary calm. They think that the two anomalous polls in the last couple of days are indications of a big swing. And that may also be why he's not harping on "rigged".... he thinks he's ahead. When the next few polls average him out to "still a loser" he may treat us to another round of It's Rigged I Tell Ya.
As to the crowds? I think they've all heard Trump's Greatest Hits. The crowd reaction was more of obligatory applause/cheering. The rabid enthusiasm isn't nearly as rabid. Or maybe I should say "isn't nearly as loud", as I think anyone still attending these things definitely qualifies as rabid.
