Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

Without comment:

NBC News is reporting 45% of Republicans say they might not accept the election results.

Meh, it's just BS talk. The number of people who might possibly act on that premise are the same old Bundy-like idiots, living their own universe.

They get in a Trump rally and believe the revolution has already begun.

Agree if you only look at national office. I think once you get farther down ballot straight ticket makes less sense. Politics being local and all. Although some of the down ballot people are ridiculous; e.g., having stances on border security, ACA, etc.

In my last long-term abode, NYC, I was involved in local politics on the ward and district level, so I voted names on the down-ticket and not parties. They were generally Democrats anyway, because we just didn't have any Republicans in Alphabet City - we were pioneering, not gentrifying. I often voted obscure third parties because there was no way anyone was going to offset the Dems hold on the area and thus there was no risk of a GOP Congressman sneaking in. I think the district last voted Republican in 1860 (but went Dem again in 1862!) and voted Socialist a few times in the teens and 20s. (It's been redistricted since the 2010 census revisions and is as safe a seat as you can find. 80/20 in the last few elections. Trump's in my district!!!)

If you see him at the polls, tell him I said, "Hi."

If you go by Gallup's last estimation of party affiliation, 42% of the public are Republican or Republican-leaning-liars(who call themselves "independent" so they can get on television "Luntz Needs You!"). 45% of that 42% is right around 19%. Take away the merely misguided who are still "talking the talk", oh, about 1/3 of that 19%, and you're left with 12 or 13%.

Wooo! I'm a-skeered. The hard core 13%. The deplorables. The people who answered 2012 exit polls (the second time Obama ran/won) that they didn't think the country was "ready for" a black President.

To those people..... There's some fine bottom land out in Idaho. Go west, young man, go west. Guns, Homesteading, Bunkering-down, Guns, Manifest Destiny, No Black People, Guns, Pesky Redskins, Guns, Coyotes, Guns,.... it's Dumbassavania! Get there, now.

Yes, I'm proposing we ostracize them and resettle them. As Phil Ochs once said on a different but related topic,.... "Here's to the Country That You've Torn Out the Heart of. (Mississippi) Find Yourself Another Country To Be Part Of".

99% of the Trump idiots talking about revolution if Trump loses (which appears to be a lead pipe cinch at this point) are blowhards, talking the piss, or, to use a term sadly obsolete, poltroons. A Poltroon is somebody who is full of false bravery and braggadocio, but when asked to put his money where his mouth is, chickens out and proves a coward.
As for the other 1% the Police are capable of handling them.

This is the funniest thing I have seen all day

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/10/russia-election-monitoring-230179

A country whose leader has done everything to favor one candidate, demands to be given a role in monitoring the election.
And a country which has a long history of failure when it comes to democracy, never quite seeming to get how it works.
IMHO the Obama administration is 100% right in telling Vlad to take his "Monistors" and put them where the sun don't shine.

Are you talking about plebiscites here? Such as legalizing marijuana?

In all(?) states they are called Propositions and they apply state-wide. In California there are 17 propositions to vote on. In addition to state-wide propositions, there may be county (the next governmental level below states) propositions. In addition to THAT there may be propositions for regional votes. A region may be, for example, a special assessment district for water supplies, schools, roads, etc.

Thus the final ballot may contain all or none of the above propositions. My ballot might not be the same as the one for my next door neighbor. This is, as noted, in addition to federal, state and local political positions. In addition to THAT there may be non-partisan offices to be voted on. For example, the city council in my home town is composed of 7 people who do not campaign as a Republican or Democrat (or any other party). While formally non-partisan races it is almost always clear who is supported by the various parties, it's just not allowed for a candidate to explicitly state a party affiliation.

You mean pales in comparison to what Donald Trump has put himself through. What about the torrent of abuse he's endured from the media? Or Hillary Clinton's nasty, rude remarks?

Yeah but all that pales to insignificance when put against not being able to grab the pussy any longer!

The Ground Game

Team Trump 22 Oct '16

Donald J. Trump - Gettysburg Conference Center, Gettysburg PA 11:00 a.m., Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA 3:00 pm, I-X Center Cleveland OH 7 p.m.

Mike Pence - Crossroads Church, Circleville OH 10 a.m., I-X Center Cleveland OH with Donald Trump 7 p.m.

Combined - 4 stops. They have no other traveling roadshow.

Team Hillary 22 Oct '16

Hillary and Kaine, GOTV Pittsburgh 4 pm, Hillary & Tim 8:00 PM GOTV Philadelphia.

Bubba is in good ol' boy country in Pensacola and Panama City FL

Katy Perry is at UNLV the whole day, evidently.

Miley Cyrus is at George Mason (VA)

Jill Biden is with Anne Holton in Fayetteville, NC, then in Jacksonville, NC - concentration on "Early Vote".

Lest we think that's a random day and an unfair comparison, I could have used Sunday the 23rd..... Trump = 1 stop, Pence = 0 stops (probably has to do the talk shows 'cuz Donnie Crassco is a-skeered). The Hillary juggernaut has, including fundraisers* 13 stops. Of those stops, one is that nice niggra fella in the White House,

*These ain't all minor. Barnie Frank hosting two of them. Salma Hayek hosting another. I know I'd show up to grab her, uh, opinions.

And it's not just that the Clinton team does a better job of publicizing their events. THERE ARE NO SURROGATES OUT THERE ORGANIZING TRUMP-FREE FUNDRAISERS or rallies.

Trump takes a swipe at Michelle Obama by taking a phrase completely out of context - what a shocker

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37734628

The New York businessman was referring to a remark Mrs Obama made in 2007 while campaigning for her husband, who was running against Mrs Clinton.

The first lady said: "If you can't run your own house, you certainly can't run the White House".

Some critics asked whether the comment had been aimed at Mrs Clinton's relationship with her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

But the Obama campaign maintained the line was not directed at the Clintons and instead referred to their own struggle with parenting during a campaign.

"So, we've adjusted our schedules to make sure that our girls are first, so while he's traveling around, I do day trips," Mrs Obama continued in her 2007 speech.

"That means I get up in the morning, I get the girls ready, I get them off, I go and do trips, I'm home before bedtime."

The Right has been indoctrinated with this bizarre notion of Fair&Balanced, which doesn't really mean what they think it does.
If Trump manages to produce 90% of the newsworthy stuff, it would be unfair to give him only 50% of the attention.
