In the digital age, Breitbart most certainly is the press, as are Salon, the Huffington Post, and a lot of other people whom I don't necessarily agree with politically.

By the press, most of us mean the press that vets stories and does it's best to remain unbiased. If you consider Breitbart to have any association with vetting and using fully or even partially true stories I do you the courtesy of assuming you have been foully and terribly misled!!!! Breitbart has no relationship of any kind with the truth. Though innuendo and mistruth seem to be it's stale bread and rancid butter!!!

You clearly have no knowledge of the history of the press in the United States.

Best way to destroy Breitbart is to educate the masses.

Take the issues of the Trumpistas seriously (there are clear demographic markers pointing out who's most likely to be a Trumpista). The issues are that their lives aren't as good as they used to be. Work to fix that.

Them being bigots, racists and generally deplorable is most likely a symtom rather than the disease.

Apparently, you're taking him literally? Haven't the leading Republican lights explained to us that you can't take Noah literally. He means, of course, that they MUST be destroyed,... democratically.

I was not discussing the history of the press in the US nor how a lot was in the not all that distant past. Learned a lot about that while working toward my MLS. I was only comparing legitimate press and "press" of the yellow journalism (see, I really do not make this **** up) current type such as Breitbart and Faux/Fox news lies. Hope this helps.

A friendly, there are fields I do not know well (sports, vehicles, theoretically famous current people everybody is believed to know of and related) but challenging me on censorship, publishing, porn, prostitution, the relationship of London prostitutes and shoplifting in the 1800's, rules of warfare, most science, folklore, SF/Fantasy, film, Black comedy and film* from the late 1800's on and a few others tend to be losing activities.


*Just in case, anyone wanting to make me think they are competent in that immediately gets asked "Tell me what you know about Oscar Micheaux." Met few who passed that test.
