2016 Presidential Debate II

Clinton probably has another arrow in her quiver, something other than the tape or taxes ; possibly a list of all of Trump's Russia connections.

OK, what's the story with the Tic Tacs?

Haven't you seen the leaked Trump video of 2005?
At one point he says that he needs to pop a Tic Tac in case he will kiss the hostess, and thinks that he will, immediately, that he can't control himself, he always must kiss the women.
Something like that.

(I think he was really saying that he doesn't brush his teeth as regularly as he ought to.)

If Trump brings up Bill Clinton tonight, Hillary can start blaming Melania for all of Trump's peccadilloes to show the absurdity.

I hope that Trump gets destroyed with Clinton taking the 'high road' by not being the first to mention the many stupid moves of Trump but instead the audience is the one who will make the first rips into the rotting Trump flesh.

After all, since Trump is such a "winner" then it is only fair that Trump gets destroyed by the millions of people who were not fortunate enough to have very rich parents.

At this point, I believe there is a non-zero chance Trump will decline the invitation to debate (remember, he never withdraws from anything). He will manufacture some conspiracy theory as to how it is rigged against him, most likely by slamming the moderators, and take the approach that it is nobler and most winning to refuse to engage in a biased forum.

Trump is approaching the "if I'm going down, I'm taking you all with me" stage.

What he should do is be a perfect gentleman, apologize a lot and try to steer the debate towards policies.

But we know that won't happen: being what he considered nice last time didn't help him, so he will go all guns blazing.
Hopefully he'll take plenty of Republicans with him.

What are the odds on Trump having apoplexy when Clinton hits him with a homer?
Too easy for the RNC to use rule 9 to install someone sane.

I am going out on a limb here and predict that Clinton looks more composed than Trump in this debate.

The Clinton camp have already picked up on the Russian ambassador's formal complaint to the UN about criticism of Trump.

Lunch Time at Trump Tower?

Here's your Taco Bowl, Mr. Trump... and the poll results. Clinton is up in Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Florida. But, hey, you're looking good in Iowa!

You have a good debate, now.

Smart move. I am sure her team will pull out an attack angle that no one has suggested in earnest yet, just to keep Trump off-balance.
I am sorry I can't watch live, too late in the night for central Europe :(

The Russian angle would be a good choice for that in my opinion. The character flaws are pretty glaring at the moment, but the taint of foreign influence could remind voters about some of the other reasons why he's unsuitable as commander in chief.

This debate is a Townhall format, isn't it? With questions coming from undecided voters. I expect that she will simply reply smarter - meaning more likeable, more on the level of those asking questions.
A good tactic might be to simply let Trump talk and make the mistakes. Then do better.

That is what I think their plan for her will be as well. Remember town halls are the hardest Presidential debate format in which to go negative. It's awkward and can alienate the audience.

You've got to do it with humour, which may not be Hilary's strong point. However, Trump is even weaker at humour, so I expect his attacks to be unsubtle and unfunny. This may not help his cause.........but then nothing will anyway.

The question I'd like to hear...

"Mr. Trump. If a man approached your daughter and grabbed her genitals, would you press charges against him?"
