Not with the base 40% Mickey Mouse could get if he ran on the GOP ticket,(same goes for the Democrats as well) but it will hurt him badly with the undecided and the indipendents.

Trump he also took a full page ad in the New York Papers proclaiming the defendnets guilty before the trial even began and said that accused criminals have no civil rights.

Link? I've seen an ad he put out and he didn't even mention these guys or opine that they were guilty before their trial started. He did advocate that perpetrators of violent crime should get the death penalty and that he wanted a return to a strong and protective police force, but I wouldn't characterize that as saying that "accused criminals have no civil rights." Is there another ad I missed?

I am a hard liner when it comes to violent crime,not exactly what you would call a bledding heart liberal,and I find Trump's ad to be outrageous. An agitator working up a lynch mob. Great guy to be the guardian of Constiutiional Rights.

I don't really see anything outrageous in that ad. You may or may not disagree with the death penalty but it just seemed to me to be a call for stricter laws to punish bad guys.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has called on the terminally ill to "hang out till November 8. Get out and vote ... I don't care how sick you are".

In a campaign full of "It can't get any worse then this" moments, for me this may be the worst thing he's said. Yes he was probably semi-joking but who knows.

I'm dying but I want to hang on long enough so this dirtbag can get himself elected president? Imagine if your wife or Dad or someone close is terminally ill? Imagine then hearing this or reading this and the sick feeling you'd get inside? Really terrible.

There is not another presidential candidate in living memory who would ever make such a stupid callous remark.

No, actually. The evidence is overwhelming that five young teenagers, ages 14 to 16, were coerced into telling homicide detectives whatever they wanted to hear during many hours of brutal interrogation without their parents, let alone lawyers, present. They ultimately persuaded a jury to award them $40 million in damages.

This is just one more example of D. Trump never admitting a mistake.

He sure sounds like he's bragging, not joking. And what's oddest is that he's talking to a reporter (if "Access Hollywood" counts) that he should know, or at least suspect, is recording him. He literally doesn't think he's doing anything wrong.
