Hillary Clinton is Done: part 3

We don't know what Hillary's problem is. I think her campaign would have said it was pneumonia and dehydration regardless of what it really is. Also, it's not a good sign to be getting pneumonia in the first place. It's an indication of a weakened immune system, especially if you get it outside of cold and flu season.

Really?

From Web M.D.
Cases of walking pneumonia are most common in the late summer and fall.

I don't know if she has "walking pneumonia" but at least I bring some scinitilla of evidence.

Bet they are happy with their investment in a dark pantsuit and the heavy duty Depends today.

What the hell? Good strategy, jeer at people with incontinence, just for the lulz. Odd for a self-proclaimed "Christian," IMO.

I think Knee Jerk reaction #1 is perfectly rational. It clearly does represent more evidence of her frailty. How strong that evidence may be remains to be seen, but it's still more evidence. Remember also that these episodes (the coughing, the extremely low energy speech, with a weird affect, this "overheating" in mild weather) are happening at a time when her campaign is very sensitive to questions about her health. They're probably trying their best to make her seem peppy. For example, giving her lots of rest, hydrating her, giving her various cold medicines, etc. There are things you can do to present at your best. If this is the best she can do, then it's likely there are serious problems.
Being in NY today myself, I can tell you it wasn't mild.

Really?

You should provide a link. In any case, from the video I saw, she strikes me as more likely having a case of "fainting and dragging" pneumonia than "walking" pneumonia.

Shakes head

We're you really hoping she could infect him with something?

No. I realize he will have hand sanitizer at the ready.

ETA: I don't wish any ill on Trump. I just don't want him to become president.

Hey look, a health reporter providing medical information! Hillary Clinton's Wobbly Incident: Classic Walking Pneumonia.

Pneumonia can be caused by viruses or bacteria, and it refers to an infection that gets into the lungs. Bacterial pneumonia is common, usually not serious and easily treated with antibiotics.

These mild bacterial infections can cause a cough and sometimes a mild fever.

People often feel well enough to go about their business, especially once they start taking antibiotics. And once they've been taking antibiotics for a day or so, they are unlikely to infect anyone else.

But the infection can take a toll, making patients prone to getting tired and dehydrated. And since people often don't realize they have an infection, they can go for days or weeks before they seek treatment — all time for the infection to wear them out even more.

I think the skeptical position here is to acknowledge the scientific consensus that an assessment of someone's health requires an examination. Like most things, we do not know her health either way outside the letter from her doctor. And that skeptics shouldn't play WebMD.

Actually people do need to be careful at 29ºC and 46% humidity.

(Which by the way, I'd find extremely hot since for me the comfort level is in the region of 18-22ºC)

It is at the lower end of the Heat Index, but it is in the Caution range, and remember that Heat Index is based on being in the shade, Clinton was in direct sunlight, so that makes it a higher risk*.

*ETA: Having looked it up, direct sunlight would increase the perceived temperature about 5.5-8.5ºC (10-15F) so she would have been effectively standing in perceived temperatures of 35-36ºC which would have moved it from Caution to Extreme Caution on the Heat Index Table.

Yes, one needs to be cautious, when it's a few degrees above room temperature outside.

She is incontenet? Oh, I just figured that they strapped it on during those occasions she is likely to pass out and otherwise lose control of her faculties.

I hope they check out that little girl the dopes in her campaign set up for a photo op, outside of Chelsea's apartment. Hillary's bugs are probably contagious as hell.

That did remind me of the scene from Monty Python and the holy grail, bring out yer dead!

Agreed.

Probably will not be forthcoming, but I think the members here who dismissed out of hand other's opinions about her health concerns - specifically the coughing and unsteadiness - kind of owe an apology to those members that they mocked for voicing those opinions.

Or not. But seems like the right thing to do.

Why?

ETA: It makes the opposite point.

Because she came out for a pathetically staged photo op and said something like "I feel much better..."

Ok hills when you go outside, you will take a picture with a little girl, make sure the press can hear you say how great you feel!

***** all over herself

You another Dr.? I hope so otherwise you shouldn't be pretending to have a *********** clue when trying to snuggly diagnose symptoms.

Now that would be the right thing to do.

What utter nonsense.

I kinda envisioned something like...

"To a all those who put forth that Hillary's coughing might be a sign of something more serious, looks like you were right. Sorry for having ridiculed you."

Bear in mind, I was not one of those people speculating on her health. But if I were, an apology might be in order.

Though I'm not a doctor, I would not recommend anyone holding their breaths until said apology occurs.
