Trump runs for POTUS / Trumped Up! Part IV

Given he might have paid that Trumper to entrap Weiner, and didn't Pierson spill some beans on Cruz when she changed sides?, maybe Trump is projecting fear of a plant?
The man's such a tangle of issues there's no point trying to pick them apart. A fear of being found out is just one more, quite consistent with other evidence - the bullying, the bragging, the mayfly mind, the grandiose schemes - of a deep-seated and justified insecurity.

And we're back to Mussolini ...

It's probably not enforceable as they are unpaid volunteers. Contracts must be 2 way. Something of value must be exchanged. My guess it's designed more as a scare warning than anything.

I suspect that the Trump side would argue that the volunteer gained valuable training and experience, made useful contacts etc. "Something of value" doesn't have to be money. in any case, the volunteer would have to hire a lawyer to respond. The real question is why alarm bells don't go off in the mind of someone who is asked to sign something like this just to be an unpaid volunteer. A reasonable person would recognize that this would, at least in theory, prevent the worker from reporting health and safety violations in the workplace or harassment by a supervisor. You might sign it if you really needed a job, but just to volunteer?

Usually, it takes more than that. I have a huge problem with NDAs when they aren't about something that is like "real company secrets". The idea that you can restrict my speech is repugnant to me.

I write and review a lot of NDAs. I agree with your assessment and try to make them as reciprocal as the relationship warrants.

This one likely wouldn't be enforceable in many jurisdictions due to its breadth. But do you really want to pay me to litigate that for you?

Trump supporters are too stupid to read it.

No actually it's clear you and the demos have his color on the brain.

Kick out the brown people? You don't even know what color I am. It's so telling how your side can't understand policy differences, always run back to the playbook for your racism bogeyman.

I'll give you a hint. I chose Trump because I'm a republican and Hillary has clearly screwed up EVERY foreign policy decision she's ever been involved in.

This would be simple for you if you didn't run to your racism playbook.

First, I've had 8 years to digest Obama as a failed president.

Second, Trump is a business man like me, he knows how to get things done.

Third, we've never had a president who wasn't first from out ruling elite, that appeals to me.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about. Trump is the Republican party nominee. You couldn't be more a part of the "ruling elite" than that.

It's clear you don't understand the relationship Trump has with the GOP establishment.
I'd support him in a minute if he only had a brain and a modicum of sense. He doesn't treat people with respect. Not women, not minorities, not the poor and not anyone that disagrees with him.

I doubt you think any republican does. I like that he's tough and doesn't take any crap. He's the kind of politician we need to clean up the incompetent boobs in government.
I have asked you multiples of times what criteria did you use to declare that Obama was a failed President. And what makes Trump good? And I have heard crickets. Tell us specifically, if you can.

I've answered it in two different posts. You were too busy calling me a racist to notice.

Specifically, the terrible economy, did you see the latest job numbers? His has been the slowest job recovery ever, the numbers have been awful for both of his terms. I'm completely against his failing healthcare law. The middleast is on fire because of his failed policies.

It's not good but that doesn't matter when you become the party's nominee. But Trump has been donating to candidates for a long time, so suggesting he's not part of the "ruling elite" is just some bizarre for of head in the sand cherry picking.

He's tough? Surely you are joking. He's a pussy, and a bully, that's not tough. And btw, if he becomes President, he's going to learn that he can't just lay down the law, he has to abide the law. Congress can and will ignore him and there isn't a damp thing he can do about it. Or haven't you noticed how they ignore Obama?

NO, YOU HAVEN'T. You have just made generalizations. And I never called you a racist.

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

:jaw-dropp

Yikes. Laughable.

Like that time he went to Mexico and the beleaguered Mexican president said "not paying for that wall" and Trump said, "yeah we didn't talk about paying for the wall", and the Mexican president corrected him, and then Trump agreed with the correction?

Tough as jello, that one. One hell of a negotiator. Got steamrolled before he could even get to the table. Tough.

The slowest recovery in the US economy came after 1929. The 2008 crash and recession was the greatest since 1929. The recovery has been slow in the UK, the rest of Europe, and pretty much everywhere it struck.

Things would have been worse without Obama's policies, and better had they not been so constrained by the Republican desire to emulate the 30's, and general obstructionism. It took true leadership to get anything done at all.

I'm completely against his failing healthcare law.
It's succeeding beyond your wildest nightmares.

The middleast is on fire because of his failed policies.
You have a wildly exaggerated conception of the US's influence in the world. The sort which led to the elective war in Iraq that served to call the US's own bluff.

The Middle East was beyond your grasp then (practically and intellectually) and it sure as hell is now.

Is this you admitting the economy sucks?
Can you tell the leftists a few post up?

Lol
Which Obama policies have given us this anemic growth? Do tell.
It's succeeding beyond your wildest nightmares.
Then why are so many exchanges failing?
It's been said that only 10% of the uninsured have been insured.

Enforcing UN sanctions was the right thing to do. Leaving Iraq open to ISIS wasn't.
The Middle East was beyond your grasp then (practically and intellectually) and it sure as hell is now.
The policies you support are being implemented as we speak. It's laughable when libs talk about grasp of anything.

Do you even comprehend what ruling in "ruling elite" means? He has no power at all.

You don't get to accumulate billions by being a pussy, your logic is, well, lacking in substance. You need to actually think about these things before you post.

NO, YOU HAVEN'T. You have just made generalizations.
Generalizations that are fact. ;)

And I never called you a racist.
You implied if not actually accused me of not voting for him because of his color.
Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.
I think you make too many personal attacks, because you can't win arguments with fact.

Has he accumulated billions? We don't know, we only have his word for it.
Any money he has accumulated came from his daddy or all the investors in his failed bankrupt businesses or from the contractors he stiffed on their payments.

Yes, that's right (and I don't write this to provoke a discussion on it). All residents are registered at the civil registry. Each municipality has a register with a national copy. Interested parties, such as pension funds or the tax office, get automatic updates. It's something we inherited, with most of the rest of continental Europe, from a Corsican corporal. :) When you move, you go to town hall and tell them you're moving out and tell them the new address and you're automatically registered at the new place.

As to students: they're free here to register at either place, their parents' or their student's room in their university towns. University towns here love it if they register there, because the national government gives the municipalities money based on the number of inhabitants.

I also don't intend to provoke a discussion regarding the Dutch system. What you do in your country is your business. It is quite different than the American system, which tends to be more suspicious about government keeping track of us (though, post 9/11, this is less important as far as I can tell).

There are huge differences between the Netherlands and the U.S., partly due to size. I sure as heck don't intend to suggest that the Netherlands should be more like the U.S. Do what you want in your own country!

(For what it's worth, I rather enjoyed my lengthy stay in your country, more or less.)

I just saw someone on another forum make an interesting observation about the Trump volunteer NDA. The article notes that Trump is protected, all his family members are protected, and his companies are protected... but not Mike Pence. As a Trump/Pence campaigner you can't say anything negative about Trump for the rest of your life, but you can say whatever you want about Pence. Trump doesn't care.
