Want to sign up for Trump's online volunteer program?

If you do, you have to sign this NDA first.

After that, you're good to go. Except you have now waived your right to ever say anything bad about Donald Trump, his company, his products, offshoots of his company, nor any of his family -- even his extended family -- for the rest of your life.

"To sign up on Trump's website, potential volunteers must agree to a 2,271-word non-disclosure agreement in which they also promise they won't compete against or say anything bad about Trump, his company, his family members or products – now and forever.

The agreement is a required part of the sign-up process for Trump Red Dialer, an online call system that connects volunteers for the Republican presidential candidate with potential voters.

Earlier this year, volunteers for Trump in New York had to sign non-disclosure agreements in person before making phone calls at Trump Tower. But the website requirement is the first indication that online volunteers must also sign the form, even if they'll never meet a Trump family member, attend a Trump rally, meet a campaign staffer in person or step inside a Trump campaign office."

Wanna volunteer your time to Dial for Don from home? Well, get on that horn, Trumpsters. Just know you must never again speak ill of Dear Leader or anything / one Trump.

Under penalty of litigation

Till the day you die.

Finally a political magazine that understands the core issue of this election :

http://www.eater.com/2016/9/2/12769290/taco-trucks-on-every-corner-trump-clinton

How is this a bad thing? The Washington post ran an article breaking down the economic and employment boom that would result from that many taco trucks rolling out.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...implications-of-a-taco-truck-on-every-corner/

While there would be collateral damage in terms fast food joints losing customers, those employees could be readily absorbed back into the work force by the growing fleets of taco trucks.

Then there's the health implications of people switching to eating lunches with a higher percentage of vegetable matter. Avocados are high in the so-called "good" cholesterol.

"A taco truck on every corner" sounds about as nice as "A chicken in every pot" as far as campaign promises go.

It's probably not enforceable as they are unpaid volunteers. Contracts must be 2 way. Something of value must be exchanged. My guess it's designed more as a scare warning than anything.

Man, I would kill for a taco truck even within driving distance of here. We have one really bad Mexican restaurant in Pattaya and I won't go there. I love on Twitter comment....

I WILL PUT A TACO TRUCK ON YOUR BLOCK, AND WE'LL GET TRUMP TO PAY FOR IT #willis2024

OTOH, we already have that sort of NDA.... our Lese Majeste laws. I think Trump was just born in the wrong hemisphere; he'd fit right in with the current governments of the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.

This weekend I'm filling out the paperwork for a "Taco Truck on Every Corner" SuperPac.

Probably, but he's holding the threat of legal action against you (you must agree to arbitration) -- and though you may likely win the signatory could be buried in legal hassles for years.

To want to scare volunteers into waiving their free speech rights (and even those of volunteer employees, should they have any) -- for the rest of their lives?

[Yes, that's in there too:

"No Disparagement. During the term of your service and at all times thereafter you hereby promise and agree not to demean or disparage publicly the Company, Mr. Trump, any Trump Company, any Family Member, or any Family Member Company or any asset any of the foregoing own, or product or service any of the foregoing offer, in each case by or in any of the Restricted Means and Contexts and to prevent your employees from doing so."]

Or, I'll sue your sorry ass.
Signed lovingly,
Donald J. Trump

The man is truly despicable.

IANAL, so maybe someone could help me out -- does this mandatory arbitration clause preclude any court from disallowing its enforcement?

Arbitration. Without limiting the Company’s or any other Trump Person’s right to commence a lawsuit in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of New York, any dispute arising under or relating to this agreement may, at the sole discretion of each Trump Person, be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of New York pursuant to the rules for commercial arbitrations of the American Arbitration Association, and you hereby agree to and will not contest such submissions. Judgment upon the award rendered by an arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

And, if it were a Trump White House...

Trump calls for federal employees to sign nondisclosure agreements

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box...al-employees-to-sign-nondisclosure-agreements

"Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he would try to prevent inside accounts of a Trump White House from leaking out years later.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Washington Post published Saturday, Trump said he would want high-level federal employees to sign nondisclosure agreements.

“When people are chosen by a man to go into government at high levels, and then they leave government and they write a book about a man and say a lot of things that were really guarded and personal, I don’t like that,” Trump said."

There is only one way anybody who really values his individual freedom would
respond to this:
Tell the Trump Campaign to take it NDA and put it where the sun don't shine.....

The prospect of Trump as President just confirms I was right in breaking with standard Liberal Orthodoxy when it comes to Gun Ownership......

Trump, however, is also fond of SLAPP lawsuits.

Given he might have paid that Trumper to entrap Weiner, and didn't Pierson spill some beans on Cruz when she changed sides?, maybe Trump is projecting fear of a plant?

I just read that Hillary raised 140 million in August. Any idea how much the orange turd brought in?

Logger,

You and I have a different definition of a good meeting. Where one calls the other a liar within 24 hours is not my idea of a good meeting.

Also, It was a PHOTO-OP. Nothing more.

Don't you get it? Both of them were using each other. The President of Mexico poll numbers are in the toilet. He wanted to look tough by standing up to Trump who is reviled in Mexico. Trump did it to look somewhat Presidential.

And both seemed to have muffed it badly.
