So you have some ready. They have speechwriters on staff. I'd hire Jon Stewart to come up with some. My bet is he would donate his services.
I really want to read the stories about the Trump campaign when this is all over. I bet there are some juicy tales about just how nuts it has been.
Just to add an interesting tidbit to the general election discussion, I was at a dinner party last night with a friendly acquaintance who is a professor of government and a key political consultant for the Democratic party. He said that Hillary has a 7 point lead over Trump, and it has actually been remarkably steady despite the fluctuations in the headline polls. He claims that the fluctuations are due to response rates (e.g. in part due to short-term enthusiasm for one's choice) and not due to undecided voters flip-flopping on their allegiance. He thinks the voters are pretty well locked in and that Hillary has a much higher probability of winning than Nate Silver is coming up with (using his polls-plus forecast, which is at 25% last I checked).
That's probably the best information I have, so I'm going with that. At the very least, that's the view of the numbers geeks inside the Democratic Party.
He's trying to scare Boeing employees that Boeing is going to move all jobs to China.
From that text you quoted:
That's crap writing. Note that it could also be stated as:And the GOP has actually won the Catholic vote as recently as 2004 and in 5 of the last 11 presidential elections.
Spin. Spin. Spin. My head is spinning. And the GOP has not won the Catholic vote since 2004 and has lost in 6 of the last 11 presidential elections.
That's how I first read your post. I tossed my Cornflakes at the thought of it.I hope to God that Trump has someone videotaping his behind ...
“You know, I was debating an evangelical professor on NPR, and this professor said, ‘Pastor, don’t you want a candidate who embodies the teaching of Jesus and would govern this country according to the principles found in the Sermon on the Mount?’” Jeffress said. “I said, ‘Heck no.’ I would run from that candidate as far as possible, because the Sermon on the Mount was not given as a governing principle for this nation.”
Jeffress, who has said freedom from religion is a “perverted idea,” argued as a Trump supporter that the U.S. government should not be based on Christian principles.
“Nowhere is government told to forgive those who wrong it, nowhere is government told to turn the other cheek,” Jeffress said.
“Government is to be a strongman to protect its citizens against evildoers. When I’m looking for somebody who’s going to deal with ISIS and exterminate ISIS, I don’t care about that candidate’s tone or vocabulary, I want the meanest, toughest, son of a you-know-what I can find — and I believe that’s biblical.”
And only 77.6% the Now-cast, down from a maximum of around 88%. Is it just a correlation with Trump's Twitter-feed going quiet, or is there causation?
Probably a bit of both. His numbers really had nowhere else to go.

So who do y'all think will win in November and why?

I really do think that people who assume that Hillary will cruise to victory need to be very careful. The gradual rebound in Trump's numbers and corresponding improvement in his fivethirtyeight chances of winning are, IMO, indicative that there are a lot of people out there looking for reasons not to vote for Hillary and who are therefore willing to switch (back) to Trump if only he'd stop saying ridiculous things.
