By "standard retard" do you suppose she meant people with cerebral palsy?

She has no clue what she's saying is just as bad if not worse.

Remember, this is Trump.

Trump only does the solid gold deluxe model of retard.

Nothing less, only the best.

:D

I've asked this before and I'm going to ask it again. Please stop using "retard" or "tard" as a slur. I have worked with people that have "down" syndrome. Some are the sweetest people you could possibly meet. I find that term extra offensive. I virtually don't care what other term you might use but if you can, please wean yourself from this expression.

Thanks.

I think you're missing the context here. They are mocking the fact that Coulter used the term "retard". They are not calling Trump a retard, but pointing out the offensiveness of Coulter's attempted defense of Trump's disability gaffe.

Anyone else hearing the deafening sound of crickets? I think the dumping of Donald may be coming sooner than advertised by the GOP. Clinton laid out a solid case that Donald is a paranoid racist and not a single prominent Republican has come to his defense. Hell with his incoherent waffling on immigration, I haven't seen any of the insignificant Republicans that are his primary backers in the party coming to his defense. All we've had is Donald's prebuttal and argument with Anderson Cooper over the definition of the word bigot as Donald incorrectly uses it.

Trump then "demanded an apology."

There's a one-way street.

I should have noticed this sooner. In Trump's mind the person who apologizes is acknowledging that he is weaker than the person receiving the apology. That's why Trump never apologizes - the only two concepts he seems to understand are money and power. He never wants to admit that he is weaker than anyone, so he will never say, "I am sorry for what I said."

He hires the best people.

Stephen K. Bannon, the new CEO of the Trump campaign, grabbed his then-wife Mary Louise Piccard “by the throat and arm,” and threatened “to take the girls and leave,” referring to their twin daughters, according to a declaration she filed in their divorce case, which began in the mid-90s.

“I took the phone to call the police and he grabbed the phone away from me throwing it across the room, and breaking it as he [was] screaming that I was a ‘crazy f—ing c–t!” according to the document.

Police responded to the New Year’s Day, 1996, clash, and wrote up a report and took pictures of the victim’s injuries, the document said.

Bannon then got his lawyer on the case, who allegedly “threatened” Piccard and told her she “would have no money [and] no way to support the children” if the case went to trial.

Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson defended Trump against criticism that he had changed his position on immigration.

"He hasn't changed his position on immigration. He's changed the words that he is saying."

Does ann think she is coming to trump's defense with that passage!? trump wasn't making fun of his actual disability but instead insinuating he had a different disability and mocked that disability instead? Holy hell, that's the best spin on trump's actions she could come up with?

She is quite possibly telling the truth. I don't think the words he ever says have anything at all to do with any positions he may or may not hold, so changing the words may have no bearing on his position.

Damn, things move fast. I called the direct attack on the alt-right, but barely beat Hillary to it by ten/twelve hours. But I didn't see it coming from Hillary, directly, and not this soon.

I think the Dems have some awesome internal polling. They proved that in '08 and '12. They know exactly when/why Trump dropped 8/10 points across the country. They know the value of forcing McConnell and Ryan to stutter when the question comes up, or having Rubio slither out of a chance to even be in the same city that Trump is speaking in. And right now, they don't care what Trump and his spokeshacks say. They are waiting for CNN, BBC, NBC, ABC, CBC, et al to start inviting the alt-right on to defend themselves.

This will be when it gets interesting. Producers are going to be falling over themselves to get the crazies booked for interviews. Will Milos be able to resist his kneejerk defense of the alt-right's racism and sound "presidential"? Not a chance, his whole existence is based on pandering to that hateful element. Alex Jones is clinically insane. Can you see Matt Lauer just pleasantly asking him, with a straight face, "When will Trump expose the FEMA death camps that Hillary and the Rothschilds are hiding from us?" Instructions from the booth: "Just keep the tape running. Let him talk."

Holy ****! Politico has the police report of Bannon's abuse of his wife.

Bannon had gone out to their car, followed by his then-wife, the report says. She then spat at him, and Bannon “reached up to her from the driver’s seat of his car and grabbed her left wrist. He pulled her down, as if he was trying to pull [her] into the car, over the door."

"[REDACTED] said Mr. Bannon grabbed at neck, also pulling her into the car. She said that she started to fight back striking at his face so he would let go of her. After a short period of time she was able to get away from him,” the report states.

The ex-wife then entered the house and said she was calling 911. She was dialing the number when, the report states, Bannon “jumped over her and the twins to grab the phone from her. Once he got the phone, he threw it across the room,” and then left the house.

"[REDACTED] found the phone in several pieces and could not use it. She complained of soreness to her neck. I saw red marks on her left wrist and the right side of her neck. These were photographed,” the police report states, adding that the ex-wife declined an emergency protective order.

What a collection of the most vile political operatives imaginable Donald has managed to surround himself with.

Sorry, I can't see Matt Lauer asking a tough question to anyone. Try someone tough, like Katie Couric. ;)

Yes, that is what I was trying to do, mock Coulter's ridiculous idea
that there is a "standard retard" that people do to act dumb.

I would never call anyone a retard.
I find it appalling and cringe worthy that Trump acts with disdain for most
people, and there are those (like Coulter) who can defend him.

I was trying to be funny, not insensitive.

This speech was chumming the waters for the Alt Reichers to come out and defend their associations with Donald and love of his ideas. Couple that with Donald's complete refusal to ever admit a mistake and compulsive need to re-litigate his gaffs & mistakes this makes for a good recipe for Donald to effectively melt down.

I get it. I am not really bothered by much speech but that term really kind of gets under my skin.
