I was referring to the rest of the alt right characters but I see no reason why trump wouldn't dump Bannon if he thought it would help. There must be conflict between bannon and conway as she is part of the establishment that bannon wants to destroy.

I am going to use that excuse sometime. I haven't changed my opinion, just the words I use to describe it.

It looks like he'll get on the ballot, but the end result has left a lot of massive openings for legal challenges. This might be a deliberate effort to force changes in the state or party bylaws. If you want to change procedure, having a YUGE example of an embarrassing moment when the existing procedures NEARLY caused catastrophe is a powerful bargaining chip.

As bonus, this is a candidate not expected to win the state that a lot of Republicans are unenthused about, so even IF Trump was left off the ballot, it wouldn't have been a loss to the state party.

Too bad. Still it saved their few GOP congress people from having to answer if they supported Trump. If Trump's name had been left off, they could haved replied "why are you asking me? He's not even on the ballot.

It doesn't matter. This (speech available here on Time) wasn't just about Bannon/Breitbart.com. The point was that the reason Bannon is acceptable to Trump is that Trump, himself, is the same guy who routinely discriminates in business, who made himself the leaders of Birtherism, who kicked off his campaign by claiming that Mexico is sending us rapists, who describes every black person in the US like they live in Boyz N Tha Hood, etc. In other words, Bannon's simply yet another reflection of Trump's essential bigotry.
 
I actually think moderating his position on immigratation was one of the few things Donald could have done that stands a very good chance of angering at least on faction of his hard core supporters.

It's true, we know trump by who he is choosing to walk with.

Kayleigh McEnany, regular trumpette claimed Trump's position on illegal immigrants hasn't changed, just his words. :sdl:
