Can't seem to see if this has been examined previously, but here's the link to Trump's supposed medical report showing he is in the pink of fabulous health. The best! Believe him!

Even a quick read through this, to my IANAD eyes, says a lot is wrong with it.

It has been examined more critically by others elsewhere who are proper medical types, and they find it to be a pile of wombat poo. Basically.

The general opinion is this is a faked up report which looks a lot like Trump wrote it personally. Trump does seem to be putting it out there as "genuine". However I find it hard to believe that if this was from a genuine NYC specialist that it would not be on more official letterhead and typed up and formatted properly by a PA. The content seems somewhat wonky and vague as well.

Opinions?

The whole thing sounds completely ridiculous. "His physical strength" and so on. For stupid.

Wouldn't a daily dose of aspirin suggest a fear of a heart attack? Is that something his doctor subscribed for him, or is it his own idea to take it?

I am not a doctor but the language contained in the memo seems rather unscientific and hyperbolic. Ordinarily, it would surprise me if someone released something so easily verifiable/falsifiable but with the Trump campaign - who knows.

It was likely dictated or Trump sent over a draft. Doctors don't write that sort of non-professional crap without prompting. If I asked my doctor for a reference about my health, he'd send along a note saying "Here are Foolmewunz's latest test results", and attach six pages of printouts. If I said, "No, I need something simply saying that I can handle the rigors of the new posting", he'd probably tell me to draft something and he'll sign it.

Alternate - preferred - theory. The Doctor is making fun of Trump's bombast and self-promotion.

I read to the first typo.

What's interesting is that for the past couple of weeks right-wingers have upped the attacks on Clinton saying she suffers from seizures, Parkinson's, and other ailments. America's doctor, Drew Pinksy, has said she looks to be in poor health. He's also probably figured that at the age of 11 she was molested.

The statement in the last sentence, i.e. "if elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to presidency" is really weird.

How the hell can he know in which condition the 44 preceeding presidents were when they entered their office? Did he make historical and forensic researches on this topic? did he ever publish on this question? Are there available books which discuss the health of all 44 présidents of the United States?

"To Whom My Concern"???

Has this wording ever been used before? To Whom It May Concern, sure, but this?

Okay it may be a weird US thing, and if so I would welcome being told I'm wrong.

Also "astonishingly excellent"? Does an educated person in any field use ridiculous wording like this?

Apparently, it's very big in gastroenterology.

...Why is Trump's GP a gastroenterologist?

I don't think that's too weird. Gastroenterologists tend to make pretty good GP:s due to their familiarity with wide-ranging tests IIRC.

Yeah, a big red flag there.

I've never seen it; To Whom It May Concern is pretty standard.

I've never heard the expression.

At his age, I believe it's recommended as a precaution.
