Is Trump claiming to not drink alcohol? I find that difficult to believe.
His brother died young of alcoholism. I believe he probably hasn't had a drink since seeing the toll alcoholism took on his brother.

Gastroenterology is a sub-specialty of internal medicine.
Can't seem to see if this has been examined previously, but here's the link to Trump's supposed medical report showing he is in the pink of fabulous health. The best! Believe him!
Even a quick read through this, to my IANAD eyes, says a lot is wrong with it.
It has been examined more critically by others elsewhere who are proper medical types, and they find it to be a pile of wombat poo. Basically.
The general opinion is this is a faked up report which looks a lot like Trump wrote it personally. Trump does seem to be putting it out there as "genuine". However I find it hard to believe that if this was from a genuine NYC specialist that it would not be on more official letterhead and typed up and formatted properly by a PA. The content seems somewhat wonky and vague as well.
Opinions?

It has been shortly commented on before (I googled back into the earlier general Trump thread).
There was a recent take-down by a Canadian doctor on the Huffington Post.
With regards to Harold Bornstein MD being Trump's GP despite being an internal medicine specialist, she says this is possible: starting internists would commonly have a GP practice and keep their old GP clients while expanding their internal medicine practice.
Harold Bornstein "inherited" Trump as client from his father Jacob Bornstein when he died in 2010. But in 2015, Jacob Bornstein's name is still on the letterhead.
Yes, IMHO, it's a fake. The letter is full of trumpisms like "healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency" that no MD would ever write. Or did doctor Bornstein also measure the PSA of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson?
Also for people with a below-average blood pressure, as the letter is claiming Trump has?At his age, I believe it's recommended as a precaution.

And the statins too? Never heard of that.
As well as incontinence, because the nerves run very close to where the surgeon has to cut. An uncle of mine had that. But most men die with prostate cancer in their bodies and most with a benign form that never spreads. The most common treatment for prostate cancer is "wait and see".The only reason to brag about a PSA result (very low) to assure people your libido is ok. Prostate cancer is one of the most treatable forms of cancer but a common side effect of the treatment is erectile dysfunction.

The most remarkable thing about Trump's health is how much it's improved since the 60s...
So it seems rather clear that this is a very badly concocted letter, and quite possibly not from the doctor named in it.All I can say is, typos and weird links and mentions of non-existent sections of gastroenterology and nonsensical medical information aside, the letter provides essentially no medical information.
Thank you. Maybe it's difference that GPs over here are less generous with "just in case" pills (or I'm misinformed about that too).Statins and the 81 mg of aspirin are GP starting points for lots of old geezers. If you show any "bad" cholesterol at all, the put you on Crestor. I'm still on it. The "heart aspirin" is also a pretty low minimum. Trump doesn't smoke but reportedly has a crap diet. Both make sense and are the kind of things you'd get from your GP without seeing a specialist. I was prescribed both when I went for my first tests for high blood pressure.... by the GP. He sent me to a cardio specialist who gave me all sorts of regular pills, but when he got to the Crestor and aspirin, said.... "couldn't hurt".
The statement in the last sentence, i.e. "if elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to presidency" is really weird.
How the hell can he know in which condition the 44 preceeding presidents were when they entered their office? Did he make historical and forensic researches on this topic? did he ever publish on this question? Are there available books which discuss the health of all 44 présidents of the United States?
Well, age isn't directly related to an individual's health. Trump could be healthier than Obama or Bush.
Forget the preceding 44 presidents. Can anyone seriously claim Trump, in his late sixties*, will enter office healthier than the last two presidents?
I don't think Trump is healthier than any of the last 7 or 8 Presidents when they took office. Ronald Reagan and Trump are maybe neck and neck. And Obama could run him into the ground and that is after spending 8 years as President. You'd have to back to LBJ to name one that was in worse shape when he took office.
What is it about Trump that makes everything and everyone exaggerate?
It was actually written by Trump publicist John Miller. The general opinion is this is a faked up report which looks a lot like Trump wrote it personally.
