I agree to some extent. The Japanese don't distinguish a difference between the color of the blue sky and green trees. I'm not certain if this is cultural or truly something to do with the color receptors in the eye.
At any rate, it was an example that I used to explain how I felt we might evolve spiritually. Perhaps we don't have the ability to sense a deeper level of reality just yet. The other alternative is that we don't have an adequate word/concept to recognize anything more than we do at the this point in our evolution.
