Hillary Clinton is Done: part 3

Similarly, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has promised to deliver an October surprise. He has repeatedly claimed to have copies of the 30,000 missing emails, and that they contain incriminating evidence of a "pay for play" shakedown of foreign governments by the Clinton Foundation and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Should be quite entertaining.
He's lying to you people.

Well, it affected the output of the 538 model. Trump now has a 38% chance of winning. Another way of putting it is that Trump has a 76% chance of becoming the favorite some time between now and election day. Which, I conjecture, also means that there's a 76% chance of a massive epidemic of incontinence by Democrats over the next 3.5 months. How can one profit from the epic crap fest to come? Depends.

The point is, how does Trump, with everything he's done and said, still have a 36% chance of winning? How does ANY reputable poll, like the L.A. Times, have Trump ahead? He's essentially treating his campaign like a practical joke. Clinton should be burying him in the polls. She's up by ONE in the latest NBC poll? :eye-poppi

Imagine plucking Kerry (who was pretty lousy himself) from 2004, and running him against Trump right now. What do you think the result would be? I think he would be crushing it.

There's really only two possibilities: this country is much more misogynistic than anyone thought, or Clinton is one of the worst candidates in history, or some combination of the two. We know from polling that 2/3 of the electorate think Clinton's an untrustworthy liar, and a majority think the FBI should have recommended charges against her. Throw in a healthy dash of sexism, and anyone with an R next to their name is going to be competitive against her.

On the bright side, Trump could have a 46% chance of winning, instead of 36%. Yay.

You're skipping over how polarized the electorate is and is increasingly becoming. Any candidate probably only has ~50% of the electorate willing to vote for them. The other ~50% hate them with such a visceral passion because they have a D or R next to their name that they're out of play. Elections are just going to close until something within the electorate changes as their divided mostly into teams cheering for laundry.

Comey irrefutably told that idiot Jason Chaffetz that Hillary did not break the law.

That's your story, and you're sticking to it no matter what the facts. I admire your determination to live in a partisan bubble, though.

It is a fact that Comey told that idiot that Hillary did not break the law no matter how you try to spin it.

The electorate was this polarized in 2012. How more polarizing can you get than a majority of the GOP believing the President is a Kenyan Muslim Communist?

They still believe that and the Kenyan Muslim Communist is endorsing a Communist woman traitor to succeed him.

The point is that a little less than 50% of the country would never vote for a Democrat. This isn't the 60s where a candidate can win by 20 points.

A generic Democrat would probably be winning by a little more than Hillary is. But not by nearly as much as you imagine.

At least they believe she's an American citizen. On the GOP message boards I troll, the hatred for Obama and Clinton is about even. They see Clinton as Obama's 3rd term. But that's just my reading of a small sample of people.

That's basically how Clinton wants to be seen. Obama is a popular outgoing President for how polarized the electorate is.

It is funny those GOP morons accuse Obama of being the worst President ever and think that they are the real Americans when the majority of Americans approve of Obama. Doubly funny when you look at the approval ratings the moron they all voted for twice had at the end of his presidency.

It's even funnier that part of Donald's campaign strategy is to tie her to Obama's legacy. Do you want more Obama? Most of the electorate says yes.

James Comey, the Republican FBI Director
Wouldn't that be former registered Republican?

swore under oath that he would not prosecute anyone who did what Hillary did, and that charging her would the double standard and an example of celebrity hunting.
I did not say I would be prosecuted; but it's been made clear to me that e-mailing classified information on improper networks could likely cost me my clearance and job.

Is he a liar?
I've no evidence that he is.

“One of the things I have learned in this case is that the secretary may not have been as sophisticated as people would assume,” said Comey. “She did not even have a computer in her office, for example.

“I see evidence of great carelessness, but I do not see evidence that secretary Clinton … knew she was doing something against the law,” he added.
Sounds like code words for stupid. Especially when said of a person with Clinton's education, experience and background.

I'm not slamming Clinton for anything else other than reckless behavior with classified information. Does anyone here think she was handling the classified information in a responsible manner?

You said that the people who decide who gets charged gave her a break. She was given no break. Unless you think Comey is a liar.

And these emails were very vague messages about the drone program that her subordinates forwarded to her. And none of them were properly marked.

I don't think this whole story says much about her specifically but rather about how classified information in general is/was handled. This sort of thing was common in many agencies. Maybe not DoD but others where security isn't as tight.

Bill Clinton called her a "world-class genius, the smartest woman in the world." But then, he had his law license suspended for lying while under oath, so we can't take his word for it.

Hillary is either a criminal or monumentally stupid. Whichever the case, she's not qualified to be President.

Says a guy who worships Donald Trump who is without doubt way more dishonest than Hillary is, a total moron, about to go to trial for his fraudulent "university" and the least qualified major party candidate in modern times.

And if you had already left that job what repercussions would you anticipate?

And yet the IG report has not resulted in any clearance revocations has it?

Comey was just as appalled by the lack of Internet savvy as I am when I come across a physician that doesn't have a clue about the low risk a meningococcal infection presents. Security is his job, and apparently the security or IT staff at the State Department are less than up to snuff. Infectious disease is my specialty and it's the same with the physicians that have knowledge gaps about infectious disease.

If people weren't constantly in a stimulated state of riled up outrage about Clinton, reality would show its true face, this really does amount to a tempest in a tea pot.
