Is there anything that better describes Donald's values more than somebody slapping the Trump brand on the work of someone else? I'm starting to come around on this Melania speech. She undercut Steve King and worked in an example to tie to her husband's values.

That was my thought too. I have not heard her speak enough yet to make solid inferences, but my feel was she was not using words she would normally use, so even if she had not plagiarized it, it was obvious she did not write any of it. There was literally no emotion in her speech: just spitting back words on a prompter. If she really is as shallow as she seems, its a good thing Trump keeps her off screen most of the time. And maybe Trump or she thought this was a good time for her to step up and show what she could do.

There was an episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies" in which the Clampetts were visited by their Mayor from back home. The man had built his entire career on using historical slogans that the people in the backwoods had never heard.

The perfect response to this should be that everyone who makes a speech at the Democratic Convention should start by claiming they wrote it themselves and then quote famous, well known speeches from history. Bill should just recite Obama/Melainia's speech. Hillary should just quote the ridiculous crap Donald has said. End with Let's make America Great Again and drop the mic.
