Where is the hypocrisy?

That she and her allies are actively exploiting the CU ruling far beyond that of any other candidate while at the same time "pledging" to overturn it and “challenge the stranglehold that wealthy interests have over our political system” right AFTER she gets elected.

what a scumball.

Not hypocrisy. people respond to incentives. Changing the law will change those incentives. Being a person that responds to those incentives is not hypocrisy.

Here is a "hypothetical":

Hillary nightly bathes in the blood of newborns while sacrificing to Baal in order that she might become President, while at the same time claiming that she will outlaw bathing in the blood of newborns while sacrificing to Baal for people in the future running for President.

I hope Hillary bathing in the blood of newborns "hypothetical" helps!

It does.it clearly demonstrates that isn't hypocrisy. If it is self serving legal activity, people will do it. You need to make it illegal. Being one of those people who engage in the legal activity isn't hypocrisy.

ahhh! I see, you are missing the part where she saying one thing (we need to get the CU money out of politics) while at the same time doing another (bathing in the fruits of the CU money in politics).

Nope. Not missing a thing. Saying you need to change the law because people respond to the existing laws while responding to the law is an accurate perception.

It isn't hypocrisy, it is game theory.

The fact is, over the years, Hillary Clinton has had a very small role in the Clinton Foundation.

Wrong! The fact is, Hillary is up to her neck in it. She is a member of the foundations board, and the foundation has recently been renamed, as reported today by Bloomberg:

What is Hillary Clinton’s role?

In 2013, after serving as secretary of state, she joined the foundation’s board and helped start three initiatives, and the foundation was renamed the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

House Republicans asked the FBI, the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Trade Commission to investigate whether the foundation is "a lawless ‘pay to play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years."

that does not make sense. at all.

She's exploiting the system as it is, with the intention of changing it given the opportunity, what's so strange about that? In fact if she doesn't play the current set up to the fullest how would she ever get the chance to change it?

She's being a hypocrite, obviously.

People perform action X because it is legal and beneficial to them.

We don't want people to perform action X.

Therefore action X should be illegal.

I am a person therefore I perform action X.

That isn't hypocrisy

I'm sure Republicans like 16.5 want Democrats to unilaterally disarm simply because it would put them a disadvantage. It has nothing to do with hypocrisy and pretending it does is yet another example of the Republicans' extreme dishonesty.

It is a classic problem. Look at the NBA. It would benefit the league if players had two years of college. But it benefits an individual team to draft out of highschool so every team does it. Owners calling for a change are not hypocrisy. The whole point of having laws is to alter these incentives.

it's a classic political dilemma, to get the power to change the system you have to exploit the very system you want to change.

But that is not what is happening:

Here is what is happening:

Hillary says we should get big money out of politics by reversing CU
Hillary is actively and eagerly exploiting the crap out of CU to get elected.
Hillary is a huge hypocrite.

She is saying one thing to get elected and doing the opposite.

No, it is like the NBA example.
