Zeitgeist meaning (spirit of the age or spirit of the time) is the dominant set of ideals and beliefs that motivate the actions of the members of a society in a particular period in time.
It is highly doubtful that a third party candidate will win the 2016 election. So when you say that HRC won't be elected because she doesn't fit the Zeitgeist of 2016, it is only reasonable that you believe the GOP nominee does. A man who espouses values which I believe are a better fit for Germany when it elected Adolf Hitler as Chancellor.
Im assuming you believe that Trump's views are a better reflection of the Zeitgeist of the United States in 2016.
