I would hold off on celebrating just yet. The email story keeps getting legs, and not just on fringe outlets anymore:

"An additional 165 pages of emails from Hillary Clinton's time at the State Department surfaced Monday, including nearly three dozen that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee failed to hand over last year that were sent through her private server."

"WASHINGTON (AP) — State Department staffers wrestled for weeks in December 2010 over a serious technical problem that affected emails from then-Secretary Hillary Clinton's home email server, causing them to temporarily disable security features on the government's own systems, according to emails released Wednesday."

Hillary isn't getting indicted. Get over it.

Really. What kind of odds are you giving she won't lose her security clearance by the time the election rolls around? 100-1 again?
I'm not even sure if she even has a security clearance anymore. She only had one because she had a job that required it. She hasn't had that job for years now.

I didn't know either. Apparently, she does.

"Now that several e-mails on Hillary Clinton's private server have been classified, there is a more immediate question than the outcome of the investigation: Should the former secretary of state retain her security clearance during the inquiry? Congressional Republicans and Democrats offer predictably different answers."

While an indictment may be unlikely, I doubt whoever's in charge of security clearances is happy with all that's gone on.

President Obama is the one who is ultimately responsible for that and he has endorsed her, saying that nobody has ever been more qualified to be President.

even if hillary does not get indicted, what happens if and when her aides get indicted? or maybe a scumbag like blumenthal?

Yeah, but who does the day-to-day security clearance review? Can Obama override that? Have presidents ever done that?

Although, if Obama has the ultimate say and Clinton isn't indicted, there's no way Obama would authorize taking her security clearance away from her.

I have to say, I've looked into extant laws and it doesn't appear she actually broke a law...

U.S. Code 18, section 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information:

"Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both."

What's your excuse going to be when she isn't indicted? Conspiracy theory?

Anybody see Elizabeth Warren on the trail with Hillary? I think she will be one of Hillary's most effective surrogates. Maybe even more so than President Obama. Plus she gets under Trump's incredibly thin skin very easily. I hope Hillary picks her for VP.

Excerpt from the article:

More Clinton Emails Released, Including Some She Deleted

"Though Clinton's work-related emails were government records, she didn't turn over copies until more than 30 lawsuits were filed, including one by The Associated Press.

"Clinton and her lawyers withheld and subsequently deleted tens of thousands of messages that she claimed were personal.

"Dozens of the emails sent or received by Clinton through her private server were later determined to contain classified material. The FBI has been investigating for months whether Clinton's use of the private email server imperiled government secrets.

"As part of the probe, Clinton turned over the hard drive from her email server to the FBI. It had been wiped clean, and Clinton has said she did not keep copies of the emails she choose to withhold."

It has been reported that Romanian hacker, Guccifer, hacked into Clinton's unencrypted private server gaining access to "Top Secret" classified information.

WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, has said his organization is preparing to publish the 30,000 deleted emails Crooked Hillary sent and received from her home brew private email server while serving as Secretary of State.
