Ed Clintonemails.com: Who is Eric Hoteham Part 3

This stuff about Laureate (?) University might have some meat to it. This email stuff? I would be very surprised.

And I brought this up because I heard Hannity yapping about it today, and it sounded pretty damning. At the very least, there was the appearance of impropriety..............except that what Hannity said wasn't true.

This is what irks me about all of this scandal-mongering. In most cases, it's just B.S.

Clinton was having issues with emails from her private server not always reaching state department recipients so they turned off security features on the state department systems. :eye-poppi

So, this is another one I heard some outrage on the radio about. Now I'll click on the link, and maybe google a bit, and I'll bet that it turns out to be.....nothing. But you never know. Maybe there's a real scandal and not just misrepresentation this time.

Or being called a Trump supporter because you don't agree with every single criticism anyone says about him.

I think in another thread it was said that Trump could do anything, even shoot someone, and his followers would still support him. I read a comment today (not here) from a Clinton supporter who said even if a new video came out showing Clinton pointing a gun to Vince fosters head, they would still support Clinton.

The abilily to ignore a blatantly terrible candidate isn't the sole domain of Trump supporters.

Trump supports believe Trump is great and Clinton is terrible. Clinton supporters believe Clinton is great and Trump is terrible. But they're both wrong. They're both terrible.
At the very least, Hillary is not going to take away healthcare from millions of people or sign other radical right wing bills. Or appoint right wing judges to the courts. That alone makes her far better than Trump. Plus, you know, Trump's disgusting bigotry.

In further news today, the crack IT team at state dept cannot figure out how to whitelist a sender address.

Meanwhile, on planet HDS, people are complaining about clintons insecure email server, lamenting the fact she didn't have an account on the state dept servers...

IIRC, the IT team was told to try to allow Hillary's emails through without "whitelisting" her domain. For some reason, her staff didn't want official State Department acknowledgement of her server. I'm not sure why the distinction mattered, but that was the issue.

Here is a link to the emails regarding the email issues.

Please back up your "recollections" with some facts.

After reading the emails let me see if I have this right.

They disabled anti-spam (virus? It's talks about both) on the bridgeheads and on a server. It was a little unclear; however, both bridgeheads and servers sit behind the firewalls, don't they? I would be extremely hard pressed to think that the State Dept. doesn't run physical firewalls which block both spam and virus content.

It appears Trend Micro were telling the troubleshooters what to shut off. I guess I'm seeing this more as disabling redundancy for a period of time, but not shutting down their "security" like it sounds. It also appears that this issue isn't just confined to Hillary's server. Early in the emails they talk about it being an issue for multiple years over a few different accounts (and software versions). Please correct me where I'm wrong.

I think they were afraid that if it was whitelisted, more than just a few senior IT people would know that she was using a private email account. Eventually one of the career IT people would have leaked or reported her... not worth mentioning... avoidance of FOIA record keeping systems...

I think this statement is full of **** considering that the email thread itself had a large portion of the IT staff assisting with the issue. Read the emails. They refer to clintonemail.com several times throughout the string. Sorry, you're wrong.

Less polite answer ... CT subforum ===>

The newly released emails show FOIA was clearly a huge concern.

State specifically set up an email address for Hillary and sent it to one of Hillary's handlers, but felt the need to add this note:

"you should be aware that any email would go through the Department's infrastructure and subject to FOIA searches."

Hillary never used that address. Not convenient enough.

Right, so YUGE , out of tens of thousands of emails ... it's mentioned how many times ?

I did some research on the emails that were not produced by Hillary yet showed up in the IG's report.

Numerous emails were produced from 11/13, yet the email chain to Huma about her email system was curiously deleted although it clearly was not "personal."

Things that make you go "huh."

No, it really doesn't make me go "hmm". You found the information easily enough. Does it have to be in every single document ever released related to this topic?

That's pretty much what it looked like to me.

This story at least had a little bit of substance to it. It showed that there was something irregular about her use of email, and that it caused at least a little bit of concern and trouble. All the same kinds of things that are all in a day's work for an IT organization, but nevertheless, more work than it would have been if she had just used a state department email.

That's something. It isn't much, but it's something,

Deleting things that might be part of the discovery process in an ongoing civil trial is generally considered naughty...

You should alert the Chicago tribune ... last month.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...ct-hillary-clinton-emails-20160526-story.html

The existence of these previously unreleased messages — which appear to have been found among electronic files of four former top Clinton State Department aides — renews concerns that Clinton was not completely forthcoming when she turned over a trove of 55,000 pages of work-related emails. And it has drawn fresh criticism from presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Here is the transcript of Hillary's IT Guru taking the Fifth 125 times, and his lawyer from silk stocking law firm Akin Gump instructing him not to answer other questions on unbelievably frivolous grounds.

Oh well, he would not talk to the State IG or Congress either.

here is a pretty good summary of the deposition.

Name
"uh huh"
"uh huh"
"yes"
Take the Fifth x 130 times.

Say, Hillary really surrounded herself with winners.
