tested negative for drugs = didn't have drugs in system

what were her minor living expenses? did she pay tuition and buy books? did she eat in restaurants and drink at bars and clubs? did she buy train tickets? did she buy clothes?

you have no idea what the withdrawals were and what she spent money on.

Not necessarily: Cocaine itself metabolizes faster than most drugs of abuse and cannot be measured. Therefore, the body of the user will determine how accurate testing will be. When the use has been a long-term, consistent habit, the blood, urine and other forms of testing will strongly tend to be accurate. However, depending on the size of the user and the history of their use, it is possible for tests to fail.

Those samples taken too early after use may measure a false negative.

Sometimes I worry about you. You have referred to her use from the time she arrived in Perugia. You have been ranting about her spending since she arrived and indicated it was for drugs.

The fact is she tested negative for drugs so that's not what she was spending it on.

How Long Does Cocaine Stay In Hair?

As with other drugs, cocaine concentrations in hair are visible for at least 90 days after dosing. However, cocaine does not leave its marks at the root of the hair, but to specific areas. That means that it is there until the hair falls out or is cut off.

IIRC she had long hair.

ETA from your own link - Hair samples are accurate for the longest period of time and will indicate crack use as early as four or five days after use and for up to three months from the time of use.

The prints could be blood below the detection limits.

She could have taken drugs below the detection limits.

The kitchen knife could have picked up a few of of Meredith's white blood cells when the other 10000 red blood cells washed away.

Amanda and Raff could have made it to the cottage without being picked up by the various CCTVs that watch the way.

Meredith could have hit Amanda just hard enough to draw blood but not hard enough to leave a mark or swelling.

The postal police could have been proven to arrive before the 112 call if the CCTV clock had been functioning properly.

Amanda could have been proven to not be coerced if the police had recorded her interrogation.

Instead of God of the Gaps we have Amanda of the Gaps. Every small crevice where we can squeeze our desperate culpable evidence into we do. I'm blown away that she was acquitted, what a solid case.

She started eating at 18:30 not 16:30. While chyme's moving clock starts with the beginning of the meal, the stomach's emptying is influenced by the end of the meal. Perhaps she grabbed a shroom when she returned home - so what?

Actually the birdies insisted she didn't drink. They were most likely lying because she had more than one drink in her.

Please provide a quote in which Raf says he prepared a meal for her before the murder.

ETA - there is no mention of Raf cooking stir-fry in his prison diary.

I can't find my source ATM, but it has been widely reported:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1570813/Meredith-may-have-dined-with-her-killers.html

Let's see if I understand some things. Meredith's digestion just happened to be in the 1/2 percentile range explaining (not really) why nothing was in the duodenum.

Amanda didn't test positive for coke because though she was buying it from the day she arrived in Perugia she didn't use it until the 1st of Nov. and therefore the drug tests didn't catch it.

Raf said in diary he cooked stir-fry (just isn't actually in the diary) which you have concluded was a meal force fed to Meredith before killing her.

A meal she ate at 6:00-30 is moved to 4 and her system isn't slow it's fast and all gastric contents are through the small intestines.

AFAIAA the police were negligent in testing for drugs. In any case, it was the defense who wanted to bring up the cannabis smoking as a defense for the pair suffering selective amnesia about the events of 1st Nov 2007.

If the perps were not fueled by drugs in their violence, that makes the crime worse, not better. It suggests pure stone cold sadistic psychopathy. At least cocaine wears off.

Amanda consorting with a cocaine dealer (the sex on a train guy) led to the police busting a cocaine syndicate, the cocaine dealer she slept with being imprisoned later for drug trafficking.

Much was widely reported by the disgusting british tabs that had no relationship to the truth. Please provide the theory discussed in court records.

Raf's diary has no mention of a stir fry. Not even that piece of **** you brits call a paper says anything about a stir-fry.

Btw, Mignini ramblings don't match up with the facts which Massei pointed out in a paste I gave you before.

Tesla I don't think you've looked yet. The money comes out while she is in Perugia and from a cash machine. The vast majority is while she isn't traveling.

She would have needed three months rent max plus any deposit. I doubt she bought an airline ticket as that wouldn't be done in cash.

The point is traveligible through Europe Can Be expensive.

Your friend, Candace Dempsey has made an attempt to minimise the later meal issue (thereby giving it substance):

Take it up with google translate and the court stenographers.

Why take it up with them. You're through one saying a compression bandage is a tourniquet.

Search "tourniquet" in Google Images and get back to me.

Yes Tesla but this money wasn't for travel as she was in Perugia. Have you looked at the accounts?

I just did and most of it was within days of her arrival in Perugia. First, last and security deposit, maybe some clothes, books at school. I'm personally shocked at how qhickey I can spend money some times even when I'm trying to be frugal.
I don't know what she spent her money on but there is no proof it was on drugs. That's just wild irresponsible speculation.

Given that an entire pizza 15 inches in diameter is way less than 500cc this would mean the entire pizza was still in MK's stomach.

This adds fuel to the defence timeline of events and destroys yours.

Exactly. Vixen is quite simply entirely wrong on this matter. And there is little or no scientific literacy in her "argument". Simple as that.

ETA: to expand, the 500ml of stomach contents would (as I think someone else also said) also include liquids and stomach acids. All in all, the volume is wholly consistent with a small-medium portion of pizza, a small portion of apple crumble, and a drink. The autopsy report is explicit in its mention of semi-broken-down elements found within this stomach matter which accurately reflect the dough, vegetable toppings and cheese of the pizza and the apple and crumble elements of the apple crumble.

There is, to all intents and purposes, no doubt that the contents of Kercher's stomach found at autopsy were the meal she consumed at her friends' house, starting at around 6.30pm (= 18:30 for those who lack the scientific literacy to use the 24-hour clock properly :D).

Whatever it was that was found in her oesophagus (I think the best bet is that it was a piece of mushroom in a virtually intact state) must have been something that Kercher nibbled on when she got back to the cottage, and must have been consumed very shortly before she was confronted and attacked. One feasible scenario is that Kercher came home, dumped her bag on her bed, then went into the kitchen area and took a mushroom from the refrigerator. It could well have been at this point that she either saw Guede or he came out of the large bathroom (which was adjacent to the kitchen area).

Do drinks/fluids stay in your stomach that long? Seems there is so little for your stomach to do in breaking it down.
