Let's try this for you. . .
1. Do you admit that Jay's testimony is pretty poor?
Does not really fit the crime scene and events real well? Not real coherent either?
Jay's testimony is corroborated by other witnesses and cell phone records, so it is not poor. Did he minimize his role in the crime? Yes. Did he know enough details about the crime to be deemed credible overall? Yes.
NHRN Kathy and Jen Pusateri have no reasons to lie to the police. Their testimony jives with the cell records and with Jay's testimony.
2. Adnan appears to have had a pretty busy day that day. Probably going to track. It is almost definite that he went to the mosque that that day. Spent time with his family, etc.
No one can place him at track for sure so that won't work as an alibi. It is almost definite that he did not go to the mosque as no one placed him there, other than his father, who we know lied. Certainly there should have been a dozen mosque witnesses who could have alibied him for the night, but there weren't.
3. After school, is there anybody (with the exception of Jay) who saw Adnan with Hae or with her car? Basically, can you place them together at all after school without Jay?
Certainly. There are several people who heard him ask Hae for a ride after school.
4. We cannot place Don and Hae together either but he appears to have a falsified alibi. In addition, he appears to have simply disappeared until something like 1 am the morning after Hae disappeared. We have times where we do not have Adnan with others (possibly counting Jay) but not for anything like the length which we have Don.
All together, Don is a much better suspect than Adnan. It probably was a spur of the moment murder, nothing planned. Once it happened, panic set in.
It is also interesting that you make personal aspersions to Bob Ruff but I know a few others who have left their day jobs for online activities. This includes one of the hosts of Generation Why and Seth Andrews. In addition, Bob Ruff seems to be doing well enough to travel to Texas, Los Angeles, and Baltimore. I could not afford to do that.
I think it is highly irresponsible to accuse someone of murder without proof. I will not discuss Don, as he was cleared as a suspect and did not commit this crime.
Bob is no hero, trust me. He jumped on the bandwagon to try to make a buck. He is an opportunist. The only reason he left his day job is because they were going to fire him. What a guy.
Sure he can afford to come to Baltimore; hundreds of people donated money to him so he could build a soundproof shed from which to record his podcast. It's only too bad he didn't also buy a suit with the leftover money.
These people making money and achieving fame off a murdered girl should be ashamed. I hope they all drop dead.
