Wait...is Michel trying to convince us that he can send information telepathically to us?
He also assigns his own "reliability score" to any guesses and finds reasons to retroactively discard the "wrong" guesses. Even when no one has guessed his actual target number, he will intuit his number. So a guess of 3 may look like the real target 2, or joking guess of 42 (beyond the range he has mandated) may be interpreted as including the actual target of 2 (I made up these examples). I think that he is very sincere in his beliefs and he doesn't typically accept suggestions to consult with medical professionals either to confirm his ability or to control it better.
I would like to help him. But I honestly don't know how to help. Attempts by others on the thread to question his tests or his beliefs, to treat them humorously, to take the test to "show" him that he doesn't broadcast his thoughts, etc. don't seem to help him either question his beliefs (he usually considers the tests a success) or to deter him from periodically returning to try the test again.
I should also mention that he appears to be very smart and trained in physics, if I recall correctly. As any smart person, he will become justifiably upset if someone questions his view of reality and I believe that he had prior bad experiences with doctors. Based on my own experiences, I do think that medicine has advanced a great deal since then, and that whatever he choses to continue to believe about his abilities, there are professionals and other people who can help him control them so that they don't disturb as much as he has sometimes indicated that they do.
