Corbyn did win, what's next?

Quie honestly I couldn't give a monkey's whether Syria is bombed or not. It's just recreational bombing, as Peter Ford the former British ambassador to Syria has described it. It's just that I would like to know how much it's all going to cost and what exactly the strategy is. To my mind, for Cameron to think some kind of transitional government in Syria will go on to defeat Turkey backed Isis is pie in the sky. Just promising Turkey to join the EU is not good enough.

The problem I have with Corbyn and Livingstone is that they rely on the police and GCHQ to solve the world's problems. I suppose there is a case for saying Britain's army and air force, with others, should have intervened in Rwanda and Bosnia sooner, and dealt with Mugabe. I just felt it was not my pigeon at the time. It's beating against the wind anyway.

What about the analysis of intelligence and bulk intervention?

It's similar in a way to how Netanyahu in Israel promises the Americans he believes in a two state solution to Palestine, when in reality he doesn't at all. Netanyahu intends instead for endless negotiations and endless war, and a war on Iran and Hezbollah and Assad.

I don't think public criticism of Israel is necessarily anti-Semitic. Jeremy Corbyn is unfairly blamed for that. Israel only seems to be interested in war and not peace in a violent corner of the world which is dangerously stormy. America and the EU don't seem to have the power to stop the Middle East from exploding.

Racial jokes seem to have been discouraged in recent years, probably for political correctness reasons. British people have suggested in the past that the Irish have no principles, but they will fight to the death to defend them. Irish people have in the past made happy quips about the Kerry men in Ireland. The French have made merry quips in the past about the Belgians.

One of the funniest things I have seen on TV was years ago when the the male Krankie Scottish comedian did an impersonation of Al Jolson singing about his mammy. That would not be allowed on TV now. The driving test sequence in the 1969 British film called Otley was hilarious but it would probably now be banned for suggesting that the police don't investigate but are apt instead to jump to conclusions. I thought the comedy actor, I think called the late James Cossins, was brilliant in that.

That Fawlty Towers TV show with its racial depictions of Irish cowboy builders and German hotel guests and Spanish waiters I don't think would be allowed now.

To oppose zionism is not necessarily racist. I am a strong opponent of Zionism, but have no animosity towards Jews. To describe Netenyahu's misdeeds in these terms is, however, clearly racist.

The British scumbags at the Financial Conduct Authority have suddenly decided at Christmas time, when most people are thinking of other things, not to investigate, or regulate, the financial sharks at the big banks. It's like the Indonesian government allowing the burning down of all the trees in Indonesia by Indonesian companies so that there can be more flooding and climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide.

Jeremy Corbyn needs to seize the situation like a man, even if the big banks do threaten to go off to Indonesia. There needs to be firm government. Manufacturing capability in the UK became at a below optimum level under Thatcher.

I didn't really follow the rest of your mini-rant, but this phrase caught my eye. What nationality would you expect the members of the British Financial Conduct Authority to be? Are there scumbags of another nation also involved? Just what exactly is your beef here?

You have nothing against Jews, you just think their country should be disbanded and Jews left at the mercy of those who vow to kill them all.

It reminds me of the white nationalists/KKK members who claim they don't hate blacks.

It's not like say Irish republicans wanting indepndence from the British empire a hundred years ago, that is, the independence of a territory and its whole existing population. If it was that. I would have no objection to it. It's not like Black and White people in the USA, not in the least. They are both recognised as citizens and indigenes of the same country. Israel is specifically a Jewish state.

Zionism sent the Jews to that country, and some of them are in illegal occupation of the territory of other countries. That needs sorted. Israel is a country created by an ideology. An ethnic ideology that penalises some natives and benefits some incomers on the grounds of religion and ethnicity. It is a form of imperialism.

Whatever solution is to be found must guarantee the safety of people there, whether Jews or gentiles. Nobody should be exposed to others who want to kill them. If you think I oppose Zionism because I want to kill Jews, you are much mistaken. But I don't really believe you think that anyway.

Factually incorrect. No requirement to be Jewish to be a citizen of Israel, and there are 1.5 million non-Jewish citizens.

Israel is hardly unique in that regard. Many countries favor some ethnicities over others, including some in western Europe. But it's only Israel you are obsessed about, because Jews.

Israel exists mainly because people did want to kill Jews and in fact did. And that happened in "enlightened" Europe. Half of Palestinians voted for a political party that has the genocide of Jews as their official position, and this is who you think Israel should be disbanded for. Yes, you sound exactly like the KKK link I posted. They hate Jews too btw.

Could you expand on this please? I have no awareness of what you are talking about and if its true its a scandalous state of affairs I would like to see rectified.
