Benghazi, yeah. This email one though. Ughh. It just keeps dripping along. Her favorables are terrible, and they won't get better while this email thing keeps getting press in mainstream outlets.

But, to be serious, the guy I've come to admire in the political punditarcracy is Michael Steele. He was a lousy GOP Chairman but the times since that I've seen him as a talking head, he impressed me - even when I disagreed with him. I'd be interested in his take on the race so far. Newt can go back under his rock.

You're misunderstanding my point. Nate Silver isn't impressive for estimating her at 85%. The disparity between 85% and "done" is what's impressive. Even more so considering the track record of Silver's estimates.

Not necessarily. The underlying issue is what it says about HC's attitude toward following rules that are inconvenient for her. Her arrangement could only be because she wanted to have complete control of every word passing through her office. But much of her work product consists of official records that the public is entitled to see, if not immediately, then in presidential libraries and federal archives. The obvious question is what was she hiding, and why? And instead of giving explanations that make sense, she responds -- as she often has throughout her public career -- that anyone asking questions is attacking her unjustly. In that, if nothing else, she has something in common with Donald Trump. At the very least, she needs to explain how a server installed in her basement by a campaign worker and connected to a private internet company could be as secure as the system maintained by the government's own experts.

Indeed. There are several self proclaimed experts on classified information handling over in the clintonemails thread who are all sure that she's guilty. They seem to believe that there is a conspiracy to protect Clinton, though, so even they admit nothing will come of this.
