Who?
We get it, you win this war of ignorance of reality stars.
Who?
Bruce Jenner certainly is not the first or last person to talk to media about their transition story. If you follow the LGBT news...
I'd never heard of Bruce Jenner prior to seeing a few stories about their transition in my news feed.
I'm not entirely sure who that even is, but I do fervently wish that these Kardashians, their spouses, their lovers, their men, their women, their pets, their friends, all of them and theirs, would just vanish into the oblivion they occupied before somehow arriving here. Where did they even come from?! Who are they?!
Not this famous. Sure old people might remember him but he wouldn't exactly be relevant to those under 60.
I'm 43 and I certainly remember him from my childhood.
I feel like a few years ago suddenly these dreadful people whooshed into being overnight and showed up on all the tabloid covers. They aren't pop stars, or actors, or politicians. How are they even famous?! Why won't they go away?!?!?!?!? Please, please, please, someone find a way to send them away!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah the suggested age of 60 cut-off is way too high, Jenner's record setting win was in 1976 so he was talked about a lot during the 1980 and 1984 games.
Who?
I'm sure the Republican party (GOP) will be delighted to have him; their all-inclusive dontcha know. And they embrace anyone from the LGBT community.
"What [Jenner] most closely resembles is a mentally disordered man who is being manipulated by disingenuous liberals and self-obsessed gay activists. Far from having the appearance of a genuine woman, he reminds me of someone who is being abandoned to his delusions by a culture of narcissistic imbeciles...This is a bastardization of our humanity on a scale and to a degree that wouldn’t have even crossed the tortured minds of last century’s most prophetic social critics."
Faux News, so I hear, has been pretty much losing it's mind over this. But I'm not going to go there to find a citation for you.
Idiot MRA (Men's Rights Advocate): Bruce Jenner is transitioning because Kardashian women make “millions flashing tits and arse.”
Meanwhile back in reality, Bruce Jenner’s net worth has been estimated at $100 million, with most of it coming from business ventures, not reality TV appearances, so I doubt if needs the money.
Not that strange. The media has always had an interest in trans issues. It's shifted away from covering trans people as a sideshow (Renee Richards), to focusing more on contemporary interest in trans rights and visibility thanks to people like Janet Mock, Isis King, and Chaz Bono.
Bruce Jenner certainly is not the first or last person to talk to media about their transition story. If you follow the LGBT news, you might have noticed similar interviews with film producer Lana Wachoski, singer Laura Jane Grace, actress Laverne Cox, and activist Jazz Jennings. And before that, Kim Petras circulated through the media to talk about her story and issues surrounding trans young adults more generally.
Simultaneously, within the past 5 or 10 years, trans issues in law have appeared in almost all US states, particularly with regard to employment discrimination, trans people in prisons, and trans accommodations in schools. There is certainly a lot of media coverage in this area as well.
Bruce Jenner's decision to give an interview about their transition is neither new nor novel, but comes with the territory of being a public figure and the media's well-established interest in trans peoples lives.
So, he's doing this all for validation?
He really is a woman!
I'll get my coat.....
I see not one link on their homepage about this??
How does growing one’s hair long and wearing a dress make Bruce Jenner into a woman? Some might say it makes him appear to be crazy, a pervert or a lunatic.
The issue of Vanity Fair featuring the photos of “Caitlyn Jenner” has not yet hit newsstands, but the photos are appearing everywhere in the media, including on the Fox News Channel, where Megyn Kelly declared “Caitlyn Jenner” to be a “courageous” figure.
Jenner does the obligatory Vanity Fair photo spread.
2015 is the year of the continuation of that same old sick postmodern cultural agenda rammed down America’s (and by cultural imperialism extension – the world’s) throats.
Unsurprisingly, executing that funny business are ruthless agents of Zion.
The Vanity Fair cover, with that quasi-ambiguous exposed crotch shown front and center in our faces was photographed by Leibovitz (notice how they couldn’t cover that thing in dress or skirt, as that would not make as strong trolling impact.) While glowing, indeed gushing article was written by Bissinger* (mother’s maiden name Lebenthal). The Vanity Fair magazine is owned by parent company Conde Nast. The chairman of Conde Nast is Samuel Irving Newhouse Jr. (mother’s maiden name Epstein).
Vanity fair is just a modern day carnival act with its “main attraction” being unveiled like Frankenstein’s monster…
Mental illness and degeneracy being celebrated on a global scale.
Bruce Jenner is just another “useful idiot” being used to push an anti masculine/heterosexual/family agenda.
He’ll no doubt kill himself in 5 years.
Gender Identity Disorder is literally and scientifically classified as a mental illness.
