For VP, Kasich or Rubio for the Republicans, for Ohio and Florida respectively.
No idea for Dem VP.
No idea for Dem VP.

There's a simpler reason why Bush would not pick Rubio: they're from the same state. There's an odd quirk in the electoral college that prohibits the electors from any state from voting for both the president and vice president from that same state. That is, if the Bush/Rubio ticket won Florida, the electors from Florida could not vote for both men; they could only vote for one or the other. This could have the oddball effect of creating a situation where the president was from one party and the VP from another. In fact, in 2000 Dick Cheney had to hurriedly re-establish residency in Wyoming in order to avoid exactly that situation.
I'd like to see
Democrats - Elizabeth Warren or Tipper Gore
Republicans - Wayne LaPierre
I think we'll get:
Democrats - Martin O'Malley
Republicans - Scott Walker
And you think this would actually be an issue? It wasn't with Bush II why would it be with Bush III? Pretty easy to just pick a different house as their residence for one of them.

How about Susana Martinez? She's from Texas, is Governor of New Mexico, a woman, hispanic, moderate (?). I haven't heard that she's some sort of Palinesque nutcase.
As to Hillary's selection? I think she's going to be limited by people who think like variations of Wayne LaPierre. She's a demographic ground-breaker. She will not likely choose a black, another woman, nor even probably a Latino as a running mate. Just "too much minority" for many voters. (Biased? Bigoted? I'm not saying. I just think she and her handlers will be aware of this.)
The Dems are going to be in a big fight for Florida, this time.

Has anyone mentioned Cory Booker? Yes, he's black, but aren't we over that? He's young and ambitious. Maybe a little too much pushback and she'd rather have a milktoast who won't challenge her on anything?
Charlie Crist it is, then.![]()

Uh, VP candidates don't disagree with the boss. That's one of the basic job requirements. One doesn't have to be a milquetoast to get with that program. It's one of the basic things that Sarah Palin couldn't understand, and another reason she was so unfit to be McCain's running mate.
By the way, what do you think Booker would disagree with Clinton on?

I've been waiting for her to rise up for years but the GoP threw the last two fights by putting chumps in the ring. I think '16 is her chance. I truely hope she takes it.
